the sweetest man you will ever meet! he's basically like a grand dad. yes he goes off topic and loves to tell personal stories, especially about his wife, but he is precious. he's retiring now though, you missed out if you didn't take him! :)

WOW-talk about boring. He deffinatly needs to require. He tends to stutter, and seems to forget where he is! I hated his class, tests are easy, the big project isn't too bad, if you don't save it for the last minute. But man, if you can survive his lectures you are LUCKY! he is confusing, repeats the same stuff, and is ALWAYS off topic!

I loved him. A little boring and drones on but very willing to work with you. Makes sure everybody understands the material. Tests are not that difficult so long as you halfway study.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Riley. He is so genuine, so kind and personable, and has a great sense of humor. For a 66 year old, he's one heck of a guy. Definitely the best professor I've had at Longwood-- wish I could have all of my classes with him. He's wonderful and I don't see how anyone could find anything negative to say about him!

Really boring topic, but the project he assigns is very helpful for when you finally take Partnership. Dr. Riley is very helpful and actually wants you to turn stuff in repeatedly. If you don't get an A in his class, you have no one to blame but yourself.

I loved his class. I think he was very knowledgeable and could help you with anything you needed. Yeah he could be boring sometimes (especially when you have him first thing in the morning) but I think he is a great teacher!! Writes good letters of recommendation :)

Dr. Riley's class was boring, except I was in a constant state of panic that he would walk by me and touch my shoulder. It made me very uncomfortable. If I didn't have to stay awake in fear, I might have slept through the class.

Dr Riley was a wonderful teacher. he is knowledgeable and the best person i could imagine to teach the math/science part of partnership. he deals with schools in the worst county in the world (buckingham) and still makes things fun
