Comment:

Dr. Runkle is adorable in that he is so passionate about what he teaches and this really comes across in his lectures and interaction with students. Exams questions are pretty specific so makes them a little tough if you don't come to class to get the details of lectures but the notes are available online. Overall I really like Dr. Runkle.

I love dr. Runkle he loves his students.. I Took him for 230, 420 and 492 he is like really easy make sure that you go to class because if you are boarded line and your attendance it 100% he would give a little curve...

Dr. Runkle is very knowledgeable. You can learn a lot if you pay attention. Can be pretty boring during the lecture, but overall a great professor. Definitely passable. Took during the summer so it was a faster pace, so during the regular quarter shouldn't have any problems. The lab sucks! LOL

Comment:

Runkle is the coolest, but sometimes talking to him is like pulling teeth. I could see learning a lot from him if we were hiking together for days without any food or water, and had to track squirrels to find their stored nuts or something. He's a great guy, and a pretty good prof, but the man is on another planet.
