Dr. Haughey's class is pretty difficult-- it requires a ton of reading and his papers take lots of time and editing. However, his lectures are interesting (and often funny) and the subject matter is classic pieces that are good to know. Studying for his exams takes a long time, but all the time studying pays off.

Fantastic teacher! I had him for 101 and 102 and he's very helpful. Have to give a few speeches which are video taped in class. Couple papers and tests but it's a really fun class. His Irish accent is the best :)

Awesome professor!! Somewhat difficult, but he's brilliant. You'll have homework everynight, but they're very quick assignments that will only take 20 minutes. Super great class! His Irish accent helps too ;)

He's brilliant. He's not only nice, understanding of the student, and open, but he's very smart, knows what he's doing in the classroom, and his lectures are addictive. They're that exciting, yes. He has a great sense of humor and is easy to approach. It's hard not to get a good grade despite the material because he's easy to talk to.
