I really enjoyed having Ms. Vaughan for Corporate Finance. The homework wasn't hard just time consuming. The tests were mostly from her lectures and a little from the text book. If you pay attention in class and study, the class will be easy for you. I will definitely take her again if I have the opportunity.

Comment:

She seems to be a nice person but her tests are killer. Luckily she gives students a chance to make over a 100 but the extra help is definitely needed. Ended up with a B in the class but studying is essential and I didn't learn much about accounting from her, just the book and wiley plus.

Be prepared to be frustrated. What you learn in class will in no way help you on the homework or tests, and every student in her class secretly complains about her. She will pick favorites, so if you're one then you will get adequate help with your problems. If you aren't, you're SOL. Also, she has weird expressions and movements.

I think she's a sweet lady, just a terrible teacher. The only students understanding her are the middle-aged ones with outside experience in the field. Her lectures are poorly organized. Not to mention her handwriting on the board is TINY. You've got to squint & try to guess what she wrote. Her tests are ridiculous & unrelated to her lectures. No.

SO FAR SO GOOD. I am sick and tired of hearing it. Terrible teacher. Her stupid stories she tells makes me think she is a brick short of a wall. Take the course somewhere else. Everyone complans about her and yet she still teaches.

She is a very poor teacher. She goes of on random stories that really have nothing to do with what she is teaching and loves to say "So far so good" which is really annoying. Her test are beyond hard and she doesn't even tell you what is going to be on it. I say avoid taking her at all cost. Save yourself the trouble of repeating the class.

Highly unorganized and inconsistent with what is taught in class compared to what is on test. Very scattered brained and many times the students HAVE to catch her mistakes. She makes up her own problems in class and they are very different than what's on the test. The only good thing is that the tests are out of 110 points, but you'll need them!

She is just okay. Her teaching ability is not the greatest. Her tests are extremely difficult and it is never clear as to what will be on the tests. The tests sometimes take two class periods to complete also. She is, however, really nice and will help you in anyway possible. She is definetly not the best, but also not the worst professor!

SPARE YOURSELF! Do not take this woman's class. She really does not need to be a teacher. She rambles on about random things, makes up numbers and half the time can't add or subtract right. I had to get outside tutoring for this class because listening to her was just pointless and not helpful at all - it made me more confused.
