I loved taking PR with Professor Schuman, she is wonderful. She is extrenely knowlegable and a super nice lady. I learned so much from her and she really knowa PR and loves teaching it, she is passionate and inspiring. SHe is very caring and helpful and very fair. Be aure to read and study for her tests and you will do fine, she is great.

If it's easy for you to show up to a class and sit and be bored for three hours, go ahead and take this class. She's a great person but she really should't be teaching and I wish the University understood that because it's a waste of everyones time. You don't learn in this course you just sit and listen to her talk

Super nice professor! The textbook used is free and available on blackboard, so don't buy it. It shows examples of what to do for each assignment. Although the class was a bit dull, Schuman is always available for suggestions and to help you along the way. Very fair grader and easy class!

Sweet/intelligent teacher, sadly students took advantage of her. we were a big class so she didn't want to do any tests, just midterm and final. you do need to read the book (for the two tests), but it's interesting/ an easy read. 2 group projects that were very easy and you choose ur groups. if u bring a newstory each class, that's extra credit :D

A 3 hour PR class was the most dull class you can possibly take. As long as you pay attention and take notes you should be fine. Bring news articles to boost your grade up as the semester goes. Joan is super sweet and you can see she is passionate about what she does but it does get very boring. Choose wisely for group projects!!

Shes a breeze but i tell you her tests are surpizingly hard. but i was **** off my ass on the final and got an A, so believe me study in the begining and you'll do fine by the end, and please dont take advantage of her kind nature! shes a good teacher and has alot on her plate! but knows her**** so respect her ass

She is often hard to hear as she talks very low, and she is sometimes unorganized. However, she shows a lot of pr campaign videos that are very helpful. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with the class-very practical. Study the details of the chapters for the tests.

Class is pretty easy and a lot of the information is common sense. Rare that you stay the whole 3 hours (with a break). She is really easy going and knows her stuff. 2 tests (15% each), 4 projects (10% each), Final (30%). Take for a pretty easy A.
