Comment:

I compared graded papers with my classmates and felt he definitely played favorites. He was somewhat clear with instructions but only after I bombed a paper. I believe he teaches based on his biased opinions and won't consider any way but his own. Would never recommend anyone to take his class.

Comment:

Best professor I've ever had. Stay out of this class if you want to have an easy class. He's very picky but he's also a great teacher. The class can be extremely tough but in the end its going to be worth it.

Very bad teacher. If you studied Socrates you can tell he tries to apply that to his teaching, he is very "wise"! He is very picky. He allows and encourages for you to ask questions but when students ask he tells you to look at the hand out....I feel he favors attractive females. Is a bit touchy. Old school needs to go back to school.

His work is not hard by any means. He's very picky with the work he assigns but only to make sure you are ready for your exit essay. He's a little confusing as to what he wants. His class was always interesting and he's not afraid to drop you if you show no care for his class. Just be a good student and don't be lazy!

Best English teacher I ever had. he could be a little nit-picky but it helps the students. He gives quizzes almost everyday. If you dont want to overwork yourself, stay out. HE IS ALSO VERY FUNNY.

Mr Montelongo is a unique type of a teacher. However, sometimes he can be a little to extreme in his teaching. Mr Montelongo like to critcize his student and make them feel horrible.I am still wondering why do he treat people like that.

He's a cool teacher. He know's what he's talking about; very helpful and doesn't like to BS. I would recommend anybody to take his class. However if your looking for an easy A and don't want to learn anything go elsewhere.

I took his online class and it was extremely uncomfortable and disappointable. He required you to involve in discussion board quite a lot, but you won't get a good grade even though you did what you told. I disageed w/ his grading methods. Also, you have to have 80% overall grade in order to pass his class. I could not stand him so that I dropped.

I took his class online and even through his posts, he came off as intimadating. He gave quite a few essays, but was fair. I met him in person at HWC for the Exit Essay, he seemed stern, but cool. He's a lawyer and rides motorcycles.

Difficult teacher, but learned lots! Seems like a hard a**, but if you do the work and ask questions, he's not so difficult. Recommend calling him to talk - much easier than asking questions in class
