I see a lot of people saying that he talks fast and whatnot. Not so. He speaks very concisely and uses a bare minimum of fluff in his lectures. Well, except for the jokes. If you don't know about selling cheese, you will. I have him for a couple of classes this semester and hes right on in both. 8.5/10

He's entertaining, so you definitely won't be bored. Teaches stuf that's not in the book. Tests are all right. You should get at least a B if you study. He is a libertarian and loves to make fun of liberals. Overall a good professor.

Frankel is the worst professor I have ever had. He is boring and has weird tests that have nothing to do with the class or book. You don't need to buy the book. I learned nothing.

I would not take him again. He zooms through the material and then gives you a test on 5 chapters. He chooses the most expensive book. I'm a real estate agent and was excited at the beginning, but then I couldn't wait for it to end. His tests are not to the point. The final is on bright yellow paper. My major is not marketing anymore after this.

Frankel isn't approachable for side conversations but he's a teacher who knows his subject. He makes a lot of correlations between lecture material and his real life experience working for Kraft. Frankel also uses videos, articles and other media to demonstrate the material. Great teacher by UNLV standards.

He def keeps the class entertained with his jokes and stories of his own experience with the subject. The review for finals is extensive but you do need to know all the information for tests. Some of the info is only found in his lectures so class attendance is a must.

Easy class, but dont underestimate the effort you must put into it. The teacher lectures til the very last minute, but is not always clear (he mumbles & talks extremely fast). You need the book for clarification. Attendance isnt required, but he shows videos & extra info that he tests you on. Usually curves grade. He isnt personable, but he's fair.

Prof. Frankel is a very credible instructor (has lots of experience in the field). He will tell you mostly everything you need to know on test reviews, but you must study txt book & all lecture notes for an "A". 3 exams (270 pts.ea.) +1 group project (190 pts.).890=A 870=A- 850=B+ 790=B 770=B- 750=C+ You definitely need the book, fairly easy class

Does not know how to engage at all, has lots of knowledge but nobody learns any of it because he doesn't interact with students well. His tests are moderate, he gives a fairly thorough review which guarantees about a B if you didn't attend the lectures. If you want the A go to lectures and pay attention to the obscure facts that he gives in class

Prof. Frankel is a cool guy. I had hime for MKT312 as well. You really leave his classroom learning something, and u can't say that about all MKT classes. Some of the things you learn have real relevancy for life outside of school like the acting out an interview process. Great Class! You should get the book to backup his lectures.

By far the best marketing teacher I've had so far. Classes are fun and entertaining. Very little amount of work that you have to do. Tests can be somewhat challenging but there is usually a letter grade curve. He even states in the beginning of the year that he almost never gives anything below a C. Don't bother buying the book.

i took this professor for both 312 and 465..best professor! Must take, he is extremely fair and his lectures are funny. Best MKT professor ive ever had. 465 is 2 projects and 2 tests and 312 is 3 tests and 1 project. both pretty easy. Frankel is awesome!

Frankel is awesome!! Pretty easy class, attendance is not mandatory but definitely helps. Try to get notes if you miss class because he shows a lot of in-class videos that are on the test. Test is not easy but if you do the multiple choice self quizzes online, you are guaranteed to get an A!!! I am taking him again for a diff class next semester!
