Relatively easy grader and easy class overall, but also very boring. Most of our classes consist of alternating between grading each other's essays, reading random poems or essays, or talking about MLA style - mixed with his tendency to ramble. Participate only when you need to, or else you'll never get out of class, and you'll want to.

TAKE HIM! he is not the easiest grader but as long as you write the paper you will get at least a B. all you need to do is show up to class and listen him talk. he laughs at his own jokes and keeps you entertained. very cute old man. i wouldnt get up at 830 for anyone but him.

First, this guy is extremely nice, the nicest professor I had this semester. The class is very uninteresting, though, to just about everyone. However, if you pay attention and participate, he will notice. You don't have to do much--not many people really care in his class. I thought this class would be easy like everyone said, but he turned out to be a harsh grader. I scored a 710 on my SAT Writing and 12/12 on essay. But this guy must have OCD or something. He only gives A's to papers that are perfect. One mistake and u will get B. Most ppl i asked got B/B+ on class. And I got B. WTH only one A in the class!?!?!

He is a good professor. You will write 3 paragraph essays. 1 in-class midterm and a take home final. All you really do is show up for class, drop off your essay, and leave. He takes up the other time by talking about poetry and other miscellaneous information and it can be VERY boring. Bring something to keep you busy for the remainder of the class

Fjordbotten Rocks. Very nice and class is easy. Eassys are graded a little hard, but in the end you find your grade is better than what your eassy's showed. Great class, usually leave early, very nice, VERY NICE man and a great professor. Very smart and wants you to do well. Work load not bad. Overall, awesome class.

he is one of the nicest professor i've had in fordham. light work loads, only a 3 paragraphs essay a week n he is very flexible on the essay topics. He is also not a hard grader, A is reachable. I am not gd in my english and i can even pull off with A-. so take him if u can. i really enjoy this class,fjordbotten is the best!

you will not find a professor more understanding of "the woes" of a college student. TAKE THIS MAN'S CLASS. it will offer you a nice break from all of your other demanding classes. an essay a week, but no grade reductions for late papers! great person, great teacher, definitely works WITH you, not against you.
