Do not reccoment to take this class. Material is hard. Professor is hard and rude at times. Lab is brutal plus you don't even know what you are doing half of the time and the teachers are poor.

Not worth it. Try taking another elective if you can. ASL is not too bad but the material is heavy and very detailed. Lab is killer and the girl teacher assistants are rude. Avoid like the plague

Don't be naive, I know I was. Most of her reviews are fake, it's the same person. Read the sentence structures, grammar, date of post ,etc. Her tests were murder, she makes you go teach girls scouts, write a 10 page single spaced report, write pro looking lab reports, etc. She is really hard and most kids dropped her class...

She is an awesome teacher!! Shes so clear and up front on what she wants you to know. I probably learned the most in her class then any other class ive taken at St. Johns. Really interesting material and explains it. Must take her. Don't need the text book. Listen to the lectures and write down everything! Really great class!

This was the best bio class I have taken at St. John's. I recommend taking her course. She is super straightforward. However much work you put in will be reflected in your grade. The AS-L isnt too bad. Listen to the lectures.

AMAZING!Its Bio for MCATs, so of course u have to study hard.Got A-,even though did bad on a test.Online quizzes and Mastering biology homework definately pulled up my grade.All exams She gave 50% of questions in advance.You got credit for those exact questions as quizzes, then they are on exams word for word.She reviewed for each exam

No interest in teaching beginning Bio students. Powerpoints weren't hers and she posted it all online anyways. All online test,quizzes and homework. Mastering Bio is a HORRIBLE program and her rules for it are archaic. Class is sleep worthy boring but you get points for attendance. If you don't already have a background in biology, good luck!

AMAZING professor! Hands down, one of the best at St. John's. Extremely helpful and you will retain a lot of knowledge. Gives you every opportunity to do well. You get what you give. This class requires work, but by far worth it. Lab is also lots of fun!

She is AMAZING. The best teacher you could ever have for biology. I have her for 2000 right now and I am taking her for 3470. She is the absolute best. Probably the best teacher at SJU. Definitely recommend taking her!

She is great. Lots of technology. Records lectures for us. She answers questions promptly and is very helpful when you approach her for help with material. She basically tutored me through the semester during office hours. I appreciate that she gives HALF the exam in advance as quizzes! Text not necessary power points and recordings are enough.

What is other review talking about? She is awesome and gives half the exam in advance as quizzes, then the same questions show up on the exam. If you bother to do online quizzes you get the points twice, that is a curve and extra credit!

Dr. Schramm is an AMAZING professor who is there for her students! Her priority is student progress and her use of technology is unsurpassed. The biology dept. needs more professors like her! TAKE HER...you won't regret it!!
