Comment:

If you want to know more about what makes society and governments work the way they do this is a great class for you. Professor Hrezo is one of my favorite professors I have had. Definitely recommend this class. Tests are five one page in class essays on different readings of philosophers.

Very funny guy. There are no tests, only in-class essays based on book assignments. Those are pretty hard, so make sure you read, take notes, and bring the book on essay day! Definitely be on time and pay attention or you're out. Come to class, there are short in-class assignments that you get graded for! Other than that, he keeps it interesting.

He is funny and cool about most things. You can't show up late or be on your phone during class, besides that he is laid back. The main negative thing about him is his lack of feedback on almost everything and he doesn't use D2L so you never know your grade in his class.

Best professor I've had so far, keeps the class interesting. Make sure you read the assigned books, and bring them to class (he allows you to use them during the quiz). Show up and be punctual and you'll pass the class, easy.

I took 2 classes with Dr Hrezo last semester, he is a GREAT guy, funny too. Clarifies any questions you have and is very interactive. HE HAS A CLOSED DOOR POLICY, if you're late you're absent so if punctuality is an issue, avoid him. He's a tough grader, I got an A in one class, a B in the other, I worked my ass off for those and I'm an A student

Dr. Hrezo is great! I wasn't excited about this class at first, but he makes it interesting. His teaching is very clear and easy to understand, and he is hilarious! You'll spend half the class laughing. There is no attendence policy but there are in-class writings every other day so you'll need to go. I definitely recommend him! Great teacher!!!

Fairly easy class. Only took one exam and the rest of the time we watched movies. Analyzed the political themes and models in the movies and then had discussion time. Overall, he's a great professor...I would recommend taking him.

Great teacher. Cool, funny guy who is willing to help and knows what he is talking about. Tests can be a bit tricky from time to time, but for the most part they are very straight forward and mostly consists of listing things. Gets off track a lot, but generally finds a way to relate it to what we're talking about. Recommended.

Finally, an instructor that teaches his students about the importance of punctuality (he will not let you in if you are late) and critical thinking. His methods engage the student and encourage debate. One of the best teachers I've had. You will enjoy his class.

great guy. very nice and readily helpful. class was interesting and easy to make an A in if you pay attention. he likes to joke and have class conversations. probably the best political science professor the university has. if you have the option, i would suggest you take his class.

LOVE LOVE LOVE him. Awesome teacher and don't let anyone tell you different. Pretty much you come to class, you get an A. He's funny and cares about his students. He won't let you in if your late to class, so get there on time. seriously TAKE HIM.

Dr. Hrezo is an amazing professor and I would recommend to anyone to take his class. It is incredibly easy to make a good grade, as long as you show up to class. He is extremely nice, clearly stated, understanding,and very personable. There is never a class period where he doesn?t joke around with his students. TAKE HIM YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Excellent teacher; definitely take him. He makes you think in a new perspective. Tests are 1 page essays and they are really easy. Attendance is not mandatory, but you should go; if you don?t it will affect your grade. For the essays, it is best to go to the discussion classes! You will ace the essays if you do.

If I could do it over again, I would have taken his class at a later time. If you take it early in the morning, you're likely to fall asleep. And he might ask you to leave. If you're texting, he will probably ask you to leave. He will not let you in if you're late. You read multiple books and that's what you're tested on. Recommended Intro class.

I loooved Dr. Hrezo! he reminded me of my grandpa, he has a pretty dry sense of humor and acts a little tough, but he's a great teacher. Make sure you come to class on time, or just don't come at all. Class is really easy, just go to the discussion days and the essays are easy. I definitely reccomend! Probably my favorite professor at radford.

Dr. Hrezo is extremely hard and boring. 3 absences. Must be there at 8am. Very good human being who is a nice guy however. This doesn't mean to take his class. Avoid Dr. Hrezo as much as possible because he can blemish that GPA. His seminar we learned absolutely nothing, it is kind of ridiculous. Take his wife,who challenging but informing.

He is okay...his class can be very boring at times but he trys to make it interesting. Do not bring your cell phone to class or turn it off. Also even though he doesnt take attendance go to class because he gives extra points if you show up and his notes are helpful for the writings. Don't be late or he will lock you out of the classroom.
