Good prof. Hard midterm... Textbook is more useful than the slides. And of course end of chapters exercises help to prepare for the exams. I was afraid that accounting work experience would be required to do the exam well, but the prof. was really great in explaining the concepts, so lack of real experience wasn't a big issue.

A true professor who cares about the students and a quality of learning experience in this course. Though his lectures may not have been full of fun, he made them interesting, with real life examples, and did his best to make sure the students wanted to come to the class. I liked the textbook chosen. Do the practice questions! It helps a lot.

Fair grader, very engaging, confident. Prof makes concepts easy to understand. Challenging, though yet not in a way that made learning a dread. Coming to class is worth while. I'd highly recommend prof. Tenenbaum and his course.

I found the midterm exam more difficult than the final. Usually, it's right opposite. Professor Tenenbaum was a good instructor, it was easy to follow his lectures. The exams were challenging, very stressful and lack of time, as always, at least to me. I would prefer to spend more time working on problems and cases instead of following the slides.

Very valuable course, this instructor is one of the best in the entire program, professional, helps with difficult questions, easily approachable, and gives useful tips to prepare for the exams. As with other courses, reading the lecture material before the class & practicing afterwards provide the best result. Great overall experience!

This prof was not able to convey the material to students in an informative way. He would just read the PowerPoint slides without really explaining anything. The midterm was quite difficult and most importantly, very long. You will need to read the book on your own to do well.

Excellent course, good professor. I had an impression that the final was about the same as the midterm, at least to me. Usually the final exam is significantly harder. What I liked was that there were no surprises (which I hate). You study the theory, practice it, and you're tested on what what was studied. That's it.

Great teacher! Provides good support during the course, and helps with difficult questions outside class hours as well. Lectures are very useful. Course is of average difficulty. If you think it's hard, wait for the FA3... Though the midterm is tough enough.

Prof. seemed somewhat tough at the first glance, but actually he was a very good instructor. I appreciated his teaching approach. It's hard to present difficult content and to keep the auditorium's attention for 3hrs after long work day. But Prof. Tenenbaum, as a great professional and talented teacher, can do it well. Lectures were very useful.
