Professor Anderson Is a nice Guy. His class is easy and anyone can pass. You have little in class assignments every day so you need to be there to know how to do it. but the assignments are easy. But he dosent give any background and he is a bad teacher most classes is random and unplanned he has said many times 'today we will wing it' bad teacher

This professor was so organized - each assignment was straight forward and he was always available for questions in and outside of class. He is very knowledgeable on the subject, and is willing to spend the time to make sure his students are understanding the material. Great class with a great professor.

He really understands that his students each learn in different ways. No one is neglected. I especially like that he uses techniques allowing visual learners like me to see formula applications by color coordination. He is good and helping you really understand connections. It was a new found love for math I never even knew I had! Take his class!

Prof Anderson's class was an overview of what can be done in the computer industry. Group presentations are required and each group has to get a guest speaker to come talk to the class which takes up the last half of the semester. Assignments were all done in class, with weekly online quizzes. Easy A if you show up.

This class had weekly online quizzes, assignments completed in class, and a big group presentation. The group presentation was most of the grade. Each time was required to bring in a guest speaker, and then present a chapter from the book. All quizzes online were open book. He is an overall great teacher.

Take advantage of his extra credit. I got 15% extra credit on each one of my tests because I did the required homework. You can still get an A even if you don't do all the homework and only required work! He's also an amazing professor, he makes sure you understand and really works with you if you don't! TAKE HIM!

Best prof. ever!!! Teaches you well, very organized, and its always ready to help. He makes you believe you can do anything! He's always happy, calm, and always has a smile on his face! He'll do assignments with you, give fun tests reviews (jeopardy), & extra credit. I wish all prof. were like him. SQL parts of the tests are hard.

I took this class a while ago (Fall 2011) but it was by far one of the best classes math classes I've taken at UVU. Professor Anderson treats students very well, and cares about their success. Whenever I had questions, I could ask him in class or email him, and he would make sure I got an clear answer.

I loved his class. He was kinda nerdy, but that doesn't bother me. I mean, it's math. He is very good at explaining math concepts and if you show up to class every day and do your homework I guarantee that you will pass this class with at least a solid B. Would recommend this class to anyone. Loved Anderson.

John is a great teacher. At first he seems boring, but that's just his voice. He's a lot of fun, and VERY knowledgeable. He'll drop what he's doing to help individuals when they need it. I had hardly any interest in databases and such, but he actually, somehow, managed to make SQL seem like fun. I enjoyed the class, and hope to have him again.

He would move on quickly and some couldn't keep up. We used a new program that teaches excel which was a pain. He took forever to transfer grades to canvas. The quizzes were difficult. All that said, this isn't a hard class to get an "A" in if you actually come to class and put in the effort. Just get past the annoyance of it all.

This is one of the first Business Intelligence Classes offered in the Nation! Highly recommend Anderson. Great at getting hands-on with the best BI tools! He will teach you the basics and leave it up to you to push yourself the extra mile. I can promise you if you do opportunity will just come knocking at your door.

Professor Anderson was an amazing teacher! He taught the concepts clearly and was very helpful with homework. I learned alot about Excel and Access by taking this class. We did most of the homework together in class, and the tests were not to bad either. I highly recommend this professor.

He is a great teacher. His lectures can be hard to pay attention to if you are not on the front row. His homework tends to not just be busy work. Each problem seems to help you learn something new. I learned a lot in his class and look forward to having him again.
