Comment:

After struggling through high school math with a learning disability and unenthusiastic teachers, it was hard starting at the bottom in college. But Triana was enthusiastic, clear, and patient, and for the first time in my life- I understood math. My first A in a math class! Thank you!

Comment:

Very very nice lady. Her accent is not that strong as others say. She tries her best to explain the subject matter, but is not always very clear. She tries very hard to help, IF YOU ASK HER for help. Homework essentially counts for nothing in this class, and we had a LOT of homework.

Stay away. Shes so hard to understand, she is rarely in class and she can't explain concepts well. She is a nice woman but English is not her first language so she tries to explain really complex things with elementary examples, not a good combo. Great person but a horrible teacher!

Triana is very sweet and adorable. Also entertaining if you are light-hearted and aren't completely serious. BUT she is VERY hard to understand, DOES NOT explain the steps and depends WAY too much on the over-expensive calculator, even when it can be done without it. I'm already planning on retaking this class with another teacher next semester.

This is the worst instructor i have ever had.Her instruction is uncomprehensible, it makes learning mathmatics even more difficult. I regret dropping Tyler Evens last semester. What ever you do, dont register for her's unless you know the material already. HONESTLY. She writes small, mumbles and makes so many mistakes on the board and skips steps!

She is nice, but can't teach that well. the class reminded me of a lowerclass high school math class. she also has an ascent so you may have trouble understanding her. overall easy class if you are strong in math. If you are not then she is not the teacher for you.

The only reason I got a decent grade is because I had been taught the material in other classes. She is really confusing, she is remarkably good at NOT answering questions. Watch out, her graders will randomly take off points for no reason. She is fine if you know the stuff already, but don't expect to learn anything. She is also inaccessable.

The only thing saving my butt in this class is that I have taken trig before (where we spent three weeks on stuff she spends twenty minutes on). It is amazing how Triana can cover 22 concepts in a 50 minute class and not have explained any of them so that students can do their HW. Very f'd-up HW policies- she sticks to them too no exceptions 4 u!

I took this class to get Pre-Cal over and what a mistake. I should have transfered. Her explainations are unclear. So I have taken to ignoring her and reading the text book, which gives me some idea on how to do things. Examples don't teach you how to do jack with out an explaination.
