Comment:

I took this as a J-Term class, so a one-semester course was condensed into three weeks. Snavely is a great teacher, energetic about what he teaches and always tries to keep it lighthearted. However, the amount of homework in this course due to the fact that it was a J-Term was absolutely boggling.

Comment:

I loved this class. It was an easy class to complete my math credit. It was homework heavy but I had a great attitude about it and worked hard and I did very well on the tests and quizzes by taking the homework seriously. What he assigns for homework is what he tests on so it is really easy to understand how you are doing. He gives great feedback.

This class was the most difficult class I have ever taken. He gives a lot of homework, and he can be a bit picky about things. Though, the tests were related to previous homework questions, so that made life a little bit easier. He's a nice professor and is very willing to help you out. Though, he expects a lot out of you.

I had Discrete Structures with him during J-term. He is AMAZING! He gives a lot of homework; I suggest finding a study buddy and doing homework right after class. Took us about 3 hours. I LOVED the class despite the homework and somewhat difficult material.
