Richards is a great professor. He is a very funny, but more importantly, he is devoted. You can clearly see his passion for what he teaches and is a very knowledgeable and well-rounded guy. You learn so much from him. I even had the opportunity to be his student in high school. I was very thankful to be in his class. I highly recommend this prof.

I took 'Biblical Interpretation' from this outstanding teacher in Fall '94. To this day, it is the BEST Bible course I have ever taken ... BAR NONE. Lo, these many years later I remember the knowledge, for sure. But more than this, I cannot forget the humble spirit in which that knowledge was delivered. DO NOT MISS THE CHANCE TO SIT UNDER HIM!

The devotionals at the beginning of class are some of the greatest lessons you will learn, be sure to pay attention to all of them. He is the funniest professor I've had so far. He makes the 3 hours go by really fast.

The funniest prof in the world and he has a great heart. His class is a bit elementary - don't expect much serious hermeneutics - but the class is practical. And, for a three-hour class, Richards makes it go by fast.

The man is made out of rubber. He'll leave you in stitches, yet in some way you are edified. You don't have to take notes because his illustrations stay in your head and he makes the Bible come alive. If you miss this class, you'll be SAD.
