I do not recommend taking this professor. Lab exams and quizzes are very hard. You could study for days and still not do the best you hoped for. She lectures way too long and barely gives time to do the actual lab. When asking for help, she barely helps, makes you feel dumb or clueless after asking the question.

She spends far too much time lecturing, which gave us less time to actually do the labs. Her lab practicals and quizzes were very specific, and require intense studying from the lab manual and her powerpoints. Not the worst lab professor, but definitely not the best.

She was a very boring lecturer and it took so long to do. She was also very passive aggressive and not helpful when asking questions. She made unkept promises about getting worksheets and quizzes back to us before practicals. Practicals were so specific and hard. You will only pass her prefab quizzes if you read the manual front and back. don't.

pre-lab lectures are way too long and way too boring, and often doesn't really help. Pre-lab quizzes are easy as long as you've read, practicals are harder but not impossible. Just make sure you really read through the labs and take pictures/remember the microscopic images of the stuff you look at. Not horrible, but I wouldn't take her again

At first, I really disliked her but later it was love-hate. She was humorous but kinda rude sometimes and a little disorganized. The stupid lab manual was one hundred freaking dollars on top of the lab fees we pay. Her 2 exams are frustrating, they're all memorization and on specifics. If you take micro though, this is your only option.

Very sassy in person and in emails. When you ask her a question, she sighs and makes it seem like you're inconveniencing her AND her answers make you feel stupid. Labs are long and disorganized-you do multiple labs per week that usually take the full lab time. Ppts not posted, even though they'd greatly help on exams. Exam Qs VERY specific.

Extremely disorganized. She has PowerPoints, but refuses to post them online as a resource, but those would be very helpful to study for the exams... She never has anything ready before lab. She scrambles around during lab to get everything together, wasting our time. Get ready for a semester of frustration with her.

This class was challenging. Her lectures were very unclear and difficult to follow (very disorganized) and they seemed to drag on for hours and had a lot of unnecessary information. My least favorite professor and class of the semester. Tests based right off of the massive powerpoints.

She is easy and straight forward if you get what she emphasizes. Reading the exercises before class is better because when she goes thru the Powerpoint for the day you better understand her instructions/hints on doing the lab. Pretty easy going and fair.

The lectures take forever, don't expect to get out of class early. Her exams are pretty hard and she tests you on random details from the manual. They are really hard to study for because you do like 25 different exercises for each exam. She is really nice and you can argue points back on assignments. She just takes her time and talks...a lot

I would avoid and take a different lab. Her lectures are rather long and boring and often take up valuable time that could be spent on the lab work. She gives quizzes that are very specific. Practicals are difficult. Not the worst, but definitely not the best.

Avoid her if you can. Not the worst lab teacher, but definitely not the best. Very boring lecturer, and the practicals are kind of difficult. She has quizzes that are very specific as well (6 multiple choice questions) , so it's not the best. She grades the labs pretty easily, which is good, but I wouldn't take her again.

Has issues with organizing information. Lectures are dreadfully long, slides are painfully overloaded with text, powerpoints contain too many slides (hundreds), her attempts at humor more painful than comic, and bizarrely the quizzes seem to hold more weight on your grade than the exams. Only bright spot is that her practicals are easy.

If you like clear lectures, don't take this class. The lectures are long and uninteresting making it a mission to follow along. Go through her powerpoints thoroughly and study everything to pass. Do good on the pre-lab quizzes (12pt), they are worth more than the actual 2.5 hour lab (6pt). Nice lady, not the clearest professor.

She is nice. But her lectures are extremely boring and long giving you no time to actually do the lab. She grades drawings and if she doesn't really like you for some odd reason, she will take points off. Practicals are difficult. But if you go through her powerpoints thoroughly, you will be fine. Lab manual doesn't teach you squat..

As far as lab classes go, hers is very easy. Reading the exercises before class is not necessary as she goes thru a Powerpoint of everything for that day at the beginning. Pretty easy grader, seems to be mostly for completion on the lab exercises. Two exams and a final presentation, all simple as long as you come to every lab. Best lab prof ever.

Professor Glogowski is a super nice lady but she is also really unclear. There's only one class a week and there is usually a quiz every week. Her lectures are really boring and she doesn't pause to explain anything. You are better off reading ahead each week so you can leave class early. She does curve the test A LOT so a C curves up to an A!
