Best psychology professor..!! Easy exams.. Easy A.. Assignments were more like to write autobiography or something like that, which was really easy. She'll do a review before class, and all the questions will be from that.. I would highly recommend her..

AWSOME. Has adult, college level expectations of her students. Does not waste time. Best teacher I have ever had.I learned more in this class than I expected. I took this class after having failed a boring class previously. WOW

Awesome prof. she is very strict and may come off as rude but she's a good person. She will show respect if you're respectful towards the class. Attendance is very important as is taking notes and doing the reading. I loved her class and her teaching technique.

This teacher is not helpful at all. She talks about irrelevant things that don't relate to psychology. She makes you take off your hat and makes students clean the board. What is this? high school? I did not pay for a teacher to boss me around. You shouldn't either. She picks on people and has favorites of the class.

took her over the summer. she gives test questions and answers beforehand so all u need to do is memorize. boring class....but an EASY A!!! u get only 3 abscenes. 5 tests. drops the lowest, so really 4. there are 3 paper assmnts, 2 are about ur life story.

She is very biased and treats some ethnicities better than others. She grades diff students differently on the same assignment. When you tell her and compare your assignment with the other persons she tells you that you shouldn?t concern yourself with how she grades her students. She needs to accept other cultures as a professor with a phD.

shes an amazing teacher. you will have to work hard in her class. she does ask for a binder, but it keeps you so organized! she has 2 papers, but its about your life story, really easy. her tests are a bit hard, but well worth it! she teaches really well and you actually learn something at the end of the class. highly recommended.

Dr. Lavin is a really awesome teacher. She really makes you understand psychology. There's a lot of reading in the text and hw out of the book from the study sheets, but its never checked. Previous comments about her were misleading, I took her class based on them but it was extremely disappointing. Spare yourself. She is rude and does not respect students. she loves to tell stories, which is great because it relates to the class...she tells you exactly what you need to know on her tests...she challenges her students to 'rise to the occassion...'she likes the go-getters and the achievers, has low tolerance for 'slackers'

I had to miss class a lot, but she was very understanding about it. Her lectures were NEVER boring, you would think they were tho. She talks about real life and incorporates into psychology. I would highly recommed taking this class, if you do you homework and attend its an easy A... She gives you the questions that are going to be on the quizzes!!
