Matt was a phenomenal instructor and was able to relate very well to his students. His use of humor kept the class lively. He knew what he was talking about and was good at explaining things. Wish I could have him as a professor every year until I graduate!

I had him for 3 classes in my minor and he is a very good teacher. There was a lot of work, but he made it an interesting class. In applied geology we got to go on fieldtrips and for the tests he lets us use our notes since we were in an upper level geol

Dr U is an awesome instructor with a great dry sense of humor. Tough but fair, all around cool guy. TX STATE PLEASE GET AROUND TO OFFERING A GEOLOGY MAJOR!!

Dr. Uliana is probably the best teacher I have had. Knows when we are confused and stops and re-explains...lots of work but at a fair pace. All in all..THE BEST

Comment:

Mr. Uliana is a good teacher. He got better as the semester progressed and as he got more used to us and more comfortable. I recommend him...not that you really have a choice since there are only 2 geology professors haha.
