Considering that this class is a gened course and I wasn't even a business major, I didn't think she was a good teacher. She's a nice person but her tests were killer and she spent way too much time reading verbatim off her powerpoint slides that didn't help much at all for the tests. NEED to read the textbook. I suggest taking someone else!

I actually have this professor in a distance learning class through Mary Baldwin. The program I am in is designed for working adults who may have families. She doesn't care. Students lose 10 pts per day for each day their assignment is late. This totally kills your grade. I hate her teaching style.

Great teacher and even a better person. You do have to put a lot of effort in for her, but that is the point of college, right? She really treats her students as people rather than a number. Take her class.

I was nervous about taking her after seeing all these comments, but this class is really not that hard. All you have to do is read the book and use your common sense and you'll be fine. I just read through the chapters 2 or 3 times before I took the tests and I got at least a 90 on them.

Melissa is a very nice lady and genuinely wants her students to succeed, but the class was very difficult and the powerpoints didn't really do much when preparing for the tests. Reading the text is a MUST. There are a few tests and some in class activities that can make or break your grade, plus a final. I recommend office hours.

Malabad is a lovely lady, but her class is extremely boring. There are 6 test, 8 assignments, and 4 in class assignments. Her grading is pretty tough and sometimes the tests have information not taught in class. I would try to take another professor.

I had Ms. Malabad for GBUS 160. Listen, everyone says she's really hard, but it's not quite how it sounds. You do need to know the textbook really well, but what's most important is critical thinking skills. If you haven't had critical thinking before, her class will be really hard. Overall, she's very nice and her class activities are so much fun.

Shes a nice lady but she isnt cut out for being a business professor. She reads off the powerpoint and doesnt go into much detail but then the tests come back and screw you over because you must know the smallest little things.

PLEASE try to find another GBUS teacher. She seems like the sweetest lady, but she talks about her kids and shows TV shows all classes, then gives killer tests. You get a lot of absences but you need to be there because of how difficult her tests are!! :(

She is a super nice lady, but her tests are a whole different story. They are super hard, and you have to pretty much memorize the book. She take everything way to seriously, especially group assignments. It's really hard to get a B- on her tests. She's nice, but it's hard to get a good grade overall.

She is a very nice lady and a great person, but the class is terrible. Its long lectures about slides that don't really help you understand it. You better know the book pages WORD FOR WORD if you want a B/B-. The tests are ridiculous and she grades group assignments way too intensely. Malabad is such an awesome teacher. She is really nice and really helpful. I had her for retail and am taking her for IMC next semester too. Her tests are kinda tricky so be sure to study. Project is a pain but overall a great teacher. Gives study guide for each test. Overall, i would recommend her!

She is so sweet, so helpful, gives out candy random days and knows you get stressed with other classes. homeworks are for extra credit, but if you do them you just get better at the class. i would take her again any day
