Comment:

His lectures are boring & he is a story teller. Some stories go on for 15 mins, so it was annoying. But in an online class, he is easy. Gives good notes, lets you check the answers before submitting assignment. Tests are easy because they follow the notes of the class. I would take it online if you could, and if you miss lectures its no big deal.

I was going to take Professor Eames over the summer, but he was awful at replying back to emails on time. He is careless and rude. Due to the pandemic, I wanted to have office hours with him and he did not want to cooperate with me at all. I am extremely disappointed.

Professor Eames likes to pretend he's strict in the beginning but it's an act. He is always willing to go the extra mile for students. You can tell he cares about his students. He gets back to e-mails quickly! I would recommend him to anyone. (I rate all my professors not just really good ones or bad)

I took Statistics over the summer with Prof Eames - my first math course in 3 years. He comes across strict but is a great guy who truly wants his students to do well and understand the information. If you don't understand something, he'll take the time to explain it differently. Ask questions when you are unsure and you will do well in his class.

Eames will trick you into thinking he is strict and intimidating, but that is far from the truth. He is very funny, relatable, and approachable. It is a different approach to math but he teaches it very well. attendance not necessary but notes are crucial so i recommend it. one of my favorite professors by far

Prof Lucky is one of the best Professors, He is very knowledgeable and knows the art of teaching very well. His lectures are very interesting and inspires learning. I thoroughly enjoyed ACT-185.

Pretty good teacher, gives great examples and helps as best as he can. He uses a lot of his office hours to help students with classwork, even for finals week too. He is also a great advising for Education majors. He tells funny stories during class. He doesn't use the book too much, only activities book. Recommend for Education majors

I absolutely LOVE Prof Eames and HIGHLY recommend to anyone! He seems intimidating at first, but is super helpful and just wants his students to succeed. If you put in the effort you will have no problem. Make sure to check your graded assignment with him before you turn it in to ensure you get a 100! He will go over everything with you.

Professor Eames was very helpful, I went to his office hours every time I didn't understand something, and he explained to me more in depth about a problem or question I had. Make sure to spend time and get a good grade on the graded assignments because those are worth a lot of your grade. I got an A in the class.

I took Professor Eames for both 155 and 156. During 155 he taught by using examples and his teaching was pretty easy to follow. However, in 156 he taught by definitions and showed us almost no examples. The tutors in the math lab taught me the whole course. Make sure to check your graded assignments against his answer key to get the best grade.

Math and I do not get along. Eames is a fair grader and gives you many opportunities to make sure you get the most out of the class. He is always willing to stay after class or meet with you if you ask. As a math hater, I would absolutely take a class with him again.

I took Eames for Math 155 & 156, the class itself is fairly easy especially if you do all your work but his lectures are boring & story telling isn't funny, only drags out class. Not a very friendly teacher, don't show up late and don't expect any partner work, talking or doing anything besides lectures on the chalkboard. Textbook is a must for HW.

I had Eames for MTH 150 and 160. I would never take a math class with anyone else. He is tough, but straightforward. If you put the effort in, and he sees you are trying, he won't let you fail. He seems intimidating at first, but he is the only professor in my college career that I actually had a relationship with. Can't recommend him enough!!

Number one rule don't be late on the first day of statistics professor eames stated this is going to be the hardest math class of your life and boy was he right do the practice test's with the tudars and study study study . very funny corny guy if you pay attention you will do well don't buy the book

I took it as a summer class, so it's not the same as it would be during the regular semester. He gives you a lot of information, but didn't give you anything that you wouldn't need. He'll help if it has to do with the material, but if you should've known it from the prerequisites, he'll tell you to go to the tutoring center.

I have never studied or a class as much as I did or his class. I learned so much. Luckily I took it in the summer so I had time to focus on this one class. He comes in early to help and will stay late as well. I encourage you to ask questions as soon as you do not understand because you will get lost. Utilize the math dept study room. Hes good tho

The work is hard but Professor Eames explains everything. All you have to do is study what he teaches you in class, show effort, and participate. i often give the wrong answers in class but he doesn't make me feel stupid, he simply chuckles ad helps you more. He will sit down with you before, and after class to explain things to you. The best!

He is the only math professor who hasn't made me hate math. Will bend over backwards to help you pass this class and deeply cares about all of his students. I'm not a great math student but I still managed to get a B in the class! Will really miss him :(
