Take him for earth science you will not regret it. He is very helpful and friendly. He gives so many resources to help you with each chapter. I never used the textbook his power-points got me through this course. I took course online. He does not give homework. You have a short 1-2 question quiz each chapter and exam usually 10 question. Take him

You must pay attention to class and study or you won't pass, there are no homework but you have to study and memorize the vocabulary, he gave quizzes at the beginning of class based on what we talked at the last class. He talks a lot but you must listen to him to pass the quizzes and tests, he has powerpoints but they are not cover everything.

Best professor ever! Took him for Oceanography and Nature photography, guaranteed A if you do the work. For oceanography, most of the class time is PowerPoint slides but tries to make it fun. Exams are very easy and he allows you to use a word bank if you do the vocab words for the exam. Extra credit opportunities, always out of class early.

Okay so Jack is a little boring, but honestly just do the word list for the test, study the test, and show up to class and you'll get a good grade. Does give you extra credit, drops your lowest test score, and is honestly so caring and understanding. I've already had him for 2 classes and am about to take another class next semester :)

I will never take this professor every again. You get absolutely no homework to help you with the extremely difficult tests. There is a test where you have to memorize 79 words and the definitions used on the test is not the same as the material he gives you. For an hour straight he just lectures, barely uses to powerpoint.

Pay attention in class because there is a lot of useful information that can be used to study for tests. Really chillax professor, but if you don't like a lot of talking then he might not be to guy for you.

Absolutely one sided education; he will give you lecture after lecture and wont utilize announcements at ALL, its 100% up to you to remember every droplet of his class. his tests are ambiguously worded- making it annoying to try and understand what info you should be answering with. Hes also painfully awkward to listen to, and he sidetracks a lot.

PROS: -Wordlists and Crosswords given before the test really help in preparing you. -Lectures are interesting and the classroom environment is great. CONS: -Important test information is missing from the PowerPoints and are only mentioned briefly in the lecture; make sure to listen to literally everything he says so you don't miss something.

For Intro to Oceanography - Avoid eye contact and if you want an A in the class, you just do THE CROSSWORD and the wordlist! Both are important. Make a group chat and share a quizlet together.

Nice guy but cant stand his class style, just quizzes every class, you get some time to review before hand but usually the questions are ridiculous. No busy work to help your grade and tests are ok. Fast grader but wouldn't take him again. Lectures a lot drones on and on.

Professor Rogers was great. His lectures were really interesting, and easy understand. He gives you all of his power points, and tells you exactly what you need to know. His tests aren't to hard, but you do need to study. Over all he was a great professor, and probably one of the best I've ever had.

This is the second class I've had with him, & I'm still not a fan. He goes on and on all class, usually about things that won't be on any tests. I'm afraid to ask questions or have him repeat something because it's likely he will snarkily reply "were you not listening?". Tests are always fill in the blank yet you find things on there not taught.

This prof is not what I thought he would be, not an easy A, the tests are not easy to prep for, even with the crosswords, trust me its not as easy as how others make it sound, and I am not someone slacks off and this class is not easy for me. I think I will end up with a B in the course, he only grades off tests and pop quizzes. Good luck guys!

Prof Rogers can tend to get a little off track sometimes during lecture. He is a nice guy and his class is really easy as well as tests. Drops lowest test and gives extra credit. He will call you out if you don't pay attention. Just take him, his class is so easy and a bit interesting. Overall, nice guy and will tell interesting stories. Easy A.

He's a cool guy. He gives you key terms that you need for the test, easy to find/study on quizlet. He's understanding, but will call you out if you dont pay attention. He rambles during lecture, but usually lets you out of class a few minutes early. Easy and chill Prof.

Comment:
Class was super boring with constant lectures that would trail off into irrelevant stories. He would use half the class time to talk about politics and his family then quiz us on what were were SUPPOSED to be lectured about all class. Many high-point tests that are easy if you do all the vocab list that is like four pages long and not graded.
