Class presents some really interesting ideas and can be a life-changer if you are interested in different perspectives on theology. If 'traditional values' people are offended, the teachings of Jesus are clearly too liberal and radical for them.

I actually liked this class quite a bit, the only bad part was that it was early in the morning. The discussions were intellectually stimulating. I would recommend this teacher highly, he has high expectations for his students and even freshmen need that.

this class is hard: a book and research paper per week. he's very opinionated, but also very insightful, intelligent, and interesting. he welcomes different views, just be prepared to defend yourself! i definately recommend a class of his, but they're all kind of the same.

Difficult for a 2 credit class, but I believe he graded fairly. Tends to be repetative and opinionated, but it's obvious that he's just really trying to make students more aware of those who are not the typical Hope student. Class is a good eye-opener.
