Comment:

He allows a paper filled w/ whatever you want to include in the test. His lectures are super helpful. I'm not awesome in math but he really know his stuff. I totally recommend him for math. He's really caring about his students & he takes time to make sure we understand the material.

Comment:

I have never been a fan of math and have struggled with math in the past. I was nervous to take stats but Dr. Bice made math very understandable. He gives lots of examples and will gladly clear any confusion that you may have. By far the sweetest professor I have ever taken. The first math class I have ever gotten an A in!!

I took Dr. Bice's calculus I class 18 years ago when he was a grad student at UCSB. Dr. Bice really turned things around for me. His lectures were really clear, he was enthusiastic and approachable, I was in his office hours all the time because he was so helpful. I can honestly say he was one of the best professors I ever had.

Comment:

Dr. Bice is just a good guy. His lectures are corny, but straight forward. Be sure to speak up so he can help you. There is a lot of material and he allows a page of notes on the test, so prepare these intelligently. Tests are not tricky, but they do challenge you. Lots of homework. He gives out notes for you, but make sure to take your own too.

He's an awesome professor. Definitely worth taking his class. Always makes sure you understand everything in his lecture. Attendance is important but he does post notes online if you have to miss a day.

Best math professor ever! Math is not my favorite subject but Dr. Bice makes things easy to understand. I wouldn't hesitate taking one of his classes again. Definitely recommend this professor!

This was the 2nd time I've taken Dr. Bice and he is still in my opinion one of the best math professors ever. Calc II is an extremely difficult class but Dr. Bice makes it as easy as possible. You'll get a cheat sheet for each exam and 4 on the final, but be sure to study and do the homework! 10/10 would definitely take again!!

Dr. Bice is a super professor. If you ask a question he will try his best in answering your question and if you still do not understand it, he will keep on trying and showing you different methods in solving a problem. After he answers your question he always asks you "does that answer you question?". Definitely recommend him as a professor!!

Dr. Bice is one the nicest professors on campus, I recommend taking calculus with him, he is so understanding and makes the class fun! The exams are tough but thats expected. He will go over materials with you if you do not understand it and will never make you feel dumb for asking.

He is the best professor I know on campus. I wish he taught every subject! His lectures are clear-cut. He loves answering questions and helping his students. He is sweet, kind, and cares a lot about his students! Although Calc 2 is tough, he helped all of his students approach the topic calmly. I HIGHLY recommend anyone take him!!

Best math professor at CSU Stanislaus. Explains material clearly, and is always willing to help his students. Posts study guides for every test, don't forget to memorize all the definitions! There will be 3-5 definitions for each exam.

Dr. Bice is who you wish for as a professor, regardless of the subject!! His class is clear cut, organized and easy to form a routine for. Dr. Bice, himself, is corny, nerdy, SO nice, articulate, intelligent, and caring! I am not a math major and there's a reason for that, I was intimidated by this class, and I got an A!! You can NOT fail w/ Dr. B!

He is the sweetest most caring professor you'll meet. He is willing to help and is very attentive to his students. He will never make you feel stupid in any way. However, his class is tough! There is a lot of memorizing formulas and only 10% or less are given for exams (which you don't end up using). This was the toughest class I have ever taken.

When I took this class with Professor Bice, it was my second time around. He made the material so easy to understand compared to my other professor. He is super helpful and doesn't mind questions at all. The test are all from the notes. Does weekly labs but are super helpful. Makes the class fun. Highly recommend!

Comment:

Dr. Bice is an awesome professor. He's funny,witty, and on time to class. He's 100% available to his students. He posts all notes on blackboard, plus homework solutions, study guides, and praactice tests. There is homework and labs every week, but it's really just for your benefit. Practice is key to passing stats.
