Man Professor Brock is amazing. She understands thst 99% of us aren't English majors and she doesn't grade you like one. She is extremmmmely fair. If you put in the work and show her effort you will get an A. Obviously if you sit back and slack off and take 5 minutes on each paper then you won't get a good grade. Favorite professor at WVU!!

Miriam is not a very good teacher. She is very nice, and often entertaining, but she does not teach very well. She is a harsh grader and often bases grades off of her opinion of your opinion. I liked her and I would take her again, but if you dont have the skills necessary to write a 10 page paper already take someone else, you won't learn from her

Excellent teacher who understands that English isn't for everyone. Grades very lightly, and is very helpful throughout. If she likes your class she may bend the rules for you a bit (with the mandatory attendance rule). Overall, it's a wonderful route to take to finish up English. Easy class (considering the subject) and a very cool,corny, Prof.

I wish all my professors were like her. I hate English and she's made it my favorite class this semester. She relates to students so well, and she is just so nice. If you talk to her after class it's even better. Definitely recommend her to any and all students!

I hate English and am not good at writting, but she made it pretty easy for me to get an A in Eng 102. I've never gotten an A in any English corse before. Highly recommend her to those who hate English.

Very nice teacher. You have no conferences except for 1 conference at the end of the semester. Revisions are optional. Very, very (not exaggerating) easy grader. Almost everyone got A's. Only bad thing-The topics have to be environmental/nature based!
