Comment:
I can't say I learned anything. The professor came into class unprepared every day. She gave the appearance of caring, but if she really cared then I think she might have put more effort into her lessons and would have taken the time to make sure we actually learned the content. The class was self-taught through workshops that missed the point.

Pam is the nicest, most considerate prof I have had in LIS. She is a real gem in a department of duds. I can't say enough in favour of her as to teaching and kindness.

Comment:
A class about research methods - possibly extremely boring. By making the major assignments about us - letting us choose the topics and follow them through, we not only learned how to do a lit search, research a methodology, and prepare to do the actual research, but also learned more about a topic we were interested in. Thanks Pam.

Entire class was taught by us students in childish workshops, the single day she taught she just talked about her work and the conferences she goes to and all the things she does instead of preparing for this class she was teaching. When asked about her specific assignments from 2 mos. earlier, she couldn't remember what she had assigned=careless.

Had Pam for Canadiana. It was a dull course, but she was a very nice teacher. Hopefully in the future she'll get to teach something a bit more interesting. Listing the top 10 Canadian books on whatever topic was the definition of DULL.
