Very well organized notes, he obviously has been doing this a long time. Very much cares about attendance and lateness that it's distracting when he stops class to mention it all the time. Spends a lot of time on reminding us not to be late ect. that he runs out of time to explain material. Compared to Coll Algebra, this class was much easier.

AVOID!! Worst teacher! Class is soooo boring! He talks really fast and he's really fidgety. It's weird. You HAVE to study. His test are not easy. He gives a quiz almost every day! Although he does let you use a help card on tests. This class is overall hard, especially if you're not that good in math.

Come to class, BE ON TIME and visit his office hours do all online work (REPEAT). The work was fair and in class quizwas easy. I really didnt study hard for this class.He has his Crazy outburst but Good teacher he wants his student to learn and know this stuff. He is Fair do your part and he will help.Always helpful to me.

He's very nice and supposed to be the best Stats teacher at TCC. For me, though, this class almost had me banging my head against my desk out of boredom. Regardless, it's not that hard, and you can make a help card for tests. The only bad trait of Kerwin is he might stutter up what he's saying. Other than that, I have to say he's a good teacher.

Great teacher! He does count attendence for 5% of your grade. He gives 4 tests (you can use a help card while taking the test)and homework online that you can make easy 100s on. I recommend him for sta2023!

Just the worst. He would go off on pointless crap at the beginning of class and than in the last five minutes wants to teach a whole new chapter. He doesnt like to answer question. If you go to him for one on one he tells you to figure it out on your own. if your late on exam day 10 points are deducted from your test! Can be extremely RUDE!

Lets you use a help card on test. Can be a duche. Goes off on tangents at the beginning and then rush towards the end. Takes off ten points if you are a minute late for test days. Office hours are pointless to go to. gets distracted easily. book is not neccessary but online packet is. 25 question test. can NEVER ask him a question, gets fustrated!

Take him if you're required to take stats. Super helpful, allows use of 5X8 notecard on every test. There's no reason to not make 100% on every homework and it's counted as a test grade. If you show up, there is no reason to not at least make a B in the class. Stats is difficult. Kerwin is the man.

Easy class and overall nice guy, a little neurotic but whatever. Explains the material pretty well, just study the notes, do online homework, and make a good help card and you should do well. How hard can a class be where a teacher lets you use a cheat card on tests? By the way, don't bother getting the textbook just buy the Course Compass code.

Mr. Kerwin is a good teacher and he puts all of the notes online and you can use a help card on tests. Although attendance is not mandatory he really wants you in class and wants you to tell him why you missed if you are not in class. He is a nice guy but can be a little scatter brained. He also gives 10 pts. extra credit for good attendance!

Pretty easy class. Just do online homework and come to class for extra credit (he still wants you there though, and will ask why you missed if you want extra credit). Class is very boring though, probably because he lets you use a cheatcard on the tests and final. Nice guy too, as long as you come and are not late.

Go to class, take notes, understand the questions. Easy. Well, I guess I'm asian, but I'm not saying that has anything to do with it. Just pay attention, and KEEP REDOING the online homework if you don't get it. It's the best way to learn in my opinion. Don't just breeze through it to try to get it done. Extra 10 points added if you do homework!
