Comment:

The work load could be considered a little heavy. Especially on mymathlab, but she is an amazing professor and puts all of her lectures online to make it more convenient for you. If you understand math a little more, I would definitely suggest her. If its harder for you, then maybe try someone else.

Comment:

At first, I didn't think that this class would be too bad; after all, I am very good at math, personally. I was wrong. While I got an A in the class, I basically had to teach myself. She does the most minimal examples in different ways, but she doesn't cover everything that you may encounter. If I was bad in math even a bit, I would've had an F.

It a tough class, but shes a great prof. Lots of homework and the exams and quizzes are a huge chunk of your grade. She drops some quizzes at the end, make sure to watch all of the videos posted and learn to do the formulas w/ your calculator & you will pass!

Comment:

Dr. Sriram is an amazing teacher, her lectures can be a little boring but she makes everything very clear and understandable for those who struggle with math. She is very patient and kind, and will make sure to help students if they need it. There are also a lot of lectures and assignments posted online, too.

Dr. Raju is a great teacher, she cares greatly about teaching and her students. Her tests can be very hard but she usually will give extra credit or a make-up test if many people do not do well. Lots of homework and assignments but must do all of them to understand the material and get a good grade.

College algebra is not easy no matter who you take, however Dr. Raju goes out of her way to give you the best methods of learning. She records every lecture with screen capture. Being in class helps to get personalized help, but you could learn online as well. If you have trouble with a certain area she will give you exercises for that area.

Given her Rate My Professor page, I was excited to take Raju's class. However, I was really disappointed. Calc II is a hard class, but I found it very hard to get help from her. I reached out probably 5-10 times asking what I could do to improve and just some general feedback and she always blew me off. She explained simple concepts in weird ways.

I want to preface with i took stats online. Professor Sriram is a great teacher. She loves what she does, that's very clear. She usually responds to emails quickly and is willing to meet students to help them. With that being said DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE ONLINE! Her online course takes a backseat to her other classes and your grade will suffer.

Raju is an amazing teacher. She is one of the most caring teachers I have ever had. She will do everything to make sure her students succeed. Study guides are very similar to tests, which makes tests easier. Not too much homework, just an assignment once a week or so. Lots of lecture, but an easy A if you pay attention.

Dr. Raju is the best math teacher I have ever had. Super willing to help in every way possible. Heck she even gives students the method to solve a problem during a flipping test. Very knowledgable and loves math. She is tough, but so is life. I would recommend Dr. Raju to everyone taking any math at any level.

She assings a lot of homework. I can tell she loves her job and she does care about her students, but there was often problems on the test that I never saw one the many homeworks we had to do. She tends to go over a couple minutes in the class. I have always been good at math, but this class was tough.

Awesome teacher, breaks it down barney style and will find a way to get it across to you, no matter how hard headed you are. Will come in on weekends and days off to tutor as well, super dedicated! Wouldn't suggest skipping a class though, you'll miss a lot, but all her lectures are posted online.

She works hard as a professor to help her students. However, she is late with giving assignments back, has messy handwriting, tests harshly, is always behind with the material, and explains things very slowly. I understand that she has extra curricular activities and other classes, but receiving late assignments is very detrimental to learning.
