She is a great teacher and is very understanding. Anatomy is not an easy class. You have to show up to class, otherwise you will NOT do well. Overall, she is a great person and teacher and I highly recommend taking her for KIN 250!

This was probably one of the best classes I have taken at MSU in my 5 semesters here. She was very willing to answer questions and give help to those who ask for it. If you go to class and take notes this class should be a solid A-B class.

I just had to her for the lecture section and I loved her. She makes everything really easy and there are notes that outline everything for you. She gives "quizzes" for people who show up to class and tells you the answer. Really helpful, great class!

Comment:

Heck of a teacher. She works with students more than any teacher I've ever had in the past. Make sure you go to class because she notices who's there and who's not. Tests are tough but certainly not impossible, and the labs are very laid back. I had a borderline B-A at the final, and she bumped me up to an A. I'd take her class again any day.

She is the best teacher ever. Made a hard subject somewhat easier....gives quizzes so be prepared. Lab is basically you learning at your own pace and leaving when you feel you are ready. She is always sticking around to help people and offers her free time to help students. Absolutely the best teacher!

I loved her, she likes to joke around with those that are comfortable with her and not afraid to strike up a convorsation. I enjoyed this class, because if not too many showed up, she would have a "quiz" which she would give us the answers and/or look them up in the book to get extra points. I would take her again.

I really like her. She is such a good teacher. She gives pop quizes all the time but if you ask she will make them open group and ends up giving you a lot of the answers. The tests are difficult but just study and you will do just fine. I would definatly take her for a teacher again.

Most likely my favorite teacher since I've been in college. She will do anything to help you understand. She is very clear about what tests are over and class (especially lab) is let out early often. She makes the abounding amount of information seem not so bad, GREAT teacher!

She is the nicest lady in the world and will help you in any way possible. Make sure that you go to lecture because she gives a lot of pop quizzes and ends up giving you the answers. The tests are pretty intense so make sure that you study.

Dr. Nelsen is a sweetheart and truly cares about her students learning anatomy and not just about performance. She makes learning anatomy fun and not as stressful as BMS307. Definitely take her for PED250 or any class!

She is SO sweet! Very knowledgeable. You should take PED 250 instead of BMS 307 because this one is easier! She is pretty easy and will a lot of the time tell you answers to quizzes and let you do group quizzes! Her tests are fairly hard, but possible!
