Professor Raspa is a kind and caring man. He is passionate about the subject and knows it well. Class can get dull at times if people don't participate, but honestly I'd take him again. The readings were good and the movies were inspiring. Gives great feedback on papers and is timely in returning them. Great professor!

I took his Shakespeare class my first semester of college and it changed my entire perspective. He really cares about his students and he was very accommodating. The weekly assignments were not hard, but it was tough to remember to do them. His paper guidelines were confusing, but he'll give them an A if you really do the work and put in the effort

Professor Raspa is a very profound man. His class, English Bible as Literature, was very intriguing. HOWEVER, even though he is an incredibly inspirational man, his class is extremely boring. While very knowledgeable, his class could easily be made more fun. He is still an awesome professor. Class is just a bore-fest.

Very inspiring professor! The movies we watched in class tied in well to his lesson plans, and the books we read in class were great as well! The only downside was that he liked to read aloud, thus we ended up not finishing everything we had intended to since his reading would take up a majority of the class period.

Great guy! Very passionate professor. His paper assignments may seem unclear, but you really can't do them wrong. As long as you show him that you care and you do the weekly posts and at least submit the papers, you should get an easy A. He has a lot of knowledge and is truly a sweetheart! Also, I never bought or read any of the books and got an A.

He's such a great guy. His talks are inspiring and energetic. The paper requirements were a little unclear, but he's lenient with grading. The reading requirements were heavy. Only 4 books for the semester, but he expected each one to be read within one week. He'll get to know you personally, and he's open to listening to student opinions.

I've had Professor Raspa for two classes two semesters in a row-Shakespeare and Art of Medicine. I have to say, he's probably the best professor that I've had in my three years of college. His classes relate to life, and his teaching has changed my life personally. You get a lot of his talks. :D

I thought I was going to hate this class but the way he speaks about Shakespeare is amazing. Really breaks everything down and talks about the psychology of Shakespeare and not just the story line. Go to class and do what you have to do and Easy A. An interesting class every week to look forward to!

Excellent teacher. Lots of wisdom. Subject of class is very serious. He's a total class act. He is kind even when a student is wrong (King Lear: mockery of the Tudors?) In retrospect, I think he is a model professor, model speaker, and model community member. He is compassionate about dying / suffering patients, and is genuine in his approach.

Dr. Raspa is an amazing teacher, he reminds me of Xavier because of his awesome outfits. This class is worth taking, changes you view on life for the better. He is very enthusiastic about E.O.L, the class and the guest speakers also add a lot to the class. If you know how to write a paper you should be fine, 3 papers no tests.

This is definetly the easiest course here at Wayne. I am pre med, and a classmate's mom told to take Raspa and I am glad I did. I swear I will never look at life quite the same.

The name of this course was END of Life Issues, and was so thought provoking! I loved the class and the stories that were shared with the class. **** Raspa has that special touch that most are looking for in a Prof. I highly reccommend this course for all medical students, nurses, and sociology majors! You will enjoy!!!

Dr. Raspa is a wonderful professor. Sure, I wish he had held the class to a higher standard during discussions--it's true that occasionally silly/untrue statements were made by students. But, Raspa's lectures were consistently engaging and thought-provoking. His commitment to his students' success is apparent. This class was a wonderful surprise!
