This review might not help that much, since I didn't study much my freshman year, but he's very particular on wording with definitions; he looks for keywords. Nothing out of lectures are tested on. Know your processes!! Making visual notes (flow charts, venn diagrams, etc.) will help you a lot! Also, he really does have beautiful eyes.

Comment:

Dr. Donnelly love birds, and most of his examples are about birds, especially on the evo1&2 quizzes. He is a tough grader when it comes to definitions, but if you get the gist- he won't take off points. The most beautiful eyes you have ever seen, also very chill about due dates. Strict attendance.

Great instructor! I had him for Ornithology at Coe College's Wilderness Field Station, & I'm currently taking his Conservation Ecology class at OU. He's a knowledgeable Ornithologist who has personal connections with other biologists, which means his labs include some special-access trips to zoos and nature reserves. One of my favorite professors!

Granted i only had him for fresh focus, he seemed like a bit of a pushover. It seemed that you could get away with a lot of late work and stuff. As my original advisor, he advised me to do some stupid things that i wish i hadn't listen to him now. I'd say if you want an easy A, take him, but don't let him be your advisor.

I LOVED General Biology with Donnelly. He was a great professor, very approachable, and yes ladies, he has beautiful eyes. He made me feel great about my decision to become a Biology major. He also grades easily and only tests you on lecture material. I looked forward to this class so much!

Fantastic teacher with great sense of humor. If you are in a schedule crisis, make taking bio with Donnelly your 1st priority. He's very helpful and most of the girls love his eyes.
