Very hard professor. She's extremely smart, but expects you to know everything she knows in intro to psych. Nothing is clear in the class. The tests have the most difficult wording, the lectures have little to do with the text/tests, the projects leave you with a question mark on your face, and if you ask a question, get ready for embarrassment.

She was very rude and did NOT explain things right. So confusing. She gets so offended when student asks to clarify something. I dropped the class and took it with a different professor, did so much better.

At the end of the semester, there were 5 of us left. It would've helped if she was more clear , especially for the term projects. Also she gives plenty of pop quizzes here and there and so she expects you to have read the chapter before class.

Not clear in terms of directions. Gets offended/flustered when asked questions to clarify. Only taught APA formatting over one class day. I understand she was going through personal problems but she often times let that impact her teaching. Her slide notes were very vague, then she asked back specific questions. Not good for a Psych 101 class.

Advoid Professor Mikijanic at all costs unless you like to not learn in class. The textbook is the only means of passing because she's not always clear in class and the slides she has in class are different from what you can download and print out. Tests are hard wording. Homework isn't hard but the paper is all about being her slave and learn APA.

Make sure you participate regularly or she'll deduct 10 points from your grade with no hesitation. However, be careful when participating. Make sure your answer is correct or you'll be belittled in front of the entire class. Tests are rough and the papers are even worse. Absolutely ask for help on the papers. Read the text book. Had her for 2 semesters in a row for psych 100 and 101. I love her, she is a good and caring person who loves what she does. She is however very tough! Her tests are not a walk in the park and the research assignments are stressful but she is ALWAYS willing to help if you ask for it. Come to class on time, participate and READ that damn book!

For PSY 101 she's pretty tough. She likes to be interactive in her class, but sometimes mixes up her words or confuses herself, asks a question someone gives a correct answer she says wrong and then "repeats" the question, but it's a different question. If you study and you're into psych you'll do well. She's always willing to help duringoffice hrs

very tough grader and is extremely picky about what she wants on her papers. goes off and yells at those who question her. Ive often answered her correctly where she then proceeded to tell me no and repeat what I said in her own words. she has her weeks where she isnt too bad. she thinks shes always right.

I had Prof Mikijanic last semester for Psych of adjustment. I had been warned about her another student who had her the year before and he had said she was mean ....ummm that was a load of crap! I LOVED her. As long as you read the book, do your work and participate in class she will love you! She was always willing to help if you needed it.
