Brutal class. Tons of work. If your bad at analyzing movies and plays in-depth, you will struggle. Somewhat helpful, but not overly nice. I had her for 202 and she was awesome and really nice. While I'd definitely recommend her for lower level classes, for 400 level and up...take at your own risk.

Very good professor. Incorporates many different methods to keep the class interesting. Oral conversation, reading, writing etc. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities, so take advantage of them! Always available for extra help and really wants all her students to do well and succeed.

I really enjoyed her class. AT first I fetl quite unconfortable because her english is not 100% clear but she is very capable of explining everything. A WORD OF ADVICE.don't be late. she will freak out and won't let u in the class even if its only for 5 min.

I thought it would be a breeze but it wasn't. I highly recommend Prof. Smith. The material seemed ok but the way she taught it was weird. She is helpful but she makes the tests so difficult, like picks the hardest parts of what you're studying. But it is just me cuz I got an A or A- every year and semester before taking her and now who knows?
