Dr. Chiang is a skillful professor that has taught her R4B class with clarity. She is really helpful during her office hours. CHang scares everyone on the first day, but get to know her and you will do extremely well on her 2 papers, and one research paper of your topic. Good Class to take for B requirement!

not reccommended. at all. she is a professor that is stuck in her own ways. she was very closed minded to new ideas and practically forced me to change the topic of a 14 page paper a week ahead of the due date.does not try to understand your logic and is overall unhelpful in bettering your writing. unorganized, unclear, and has high expectations

Proff. Chiang is a very good proffessor. This class requires a lot of work and dedication. Although She can be intimidating at first, she is nothing like that. Chiang is a tough grader, but her goal is to push you into passing the portfolio, but most importantly becoming an experienced writer.

She scared the hell out of me. She made me think I was the crappiest writer eve, but she was just making sure I stayed on top of things. In the end, I got a B+ and passed the portfolio. Don't be scared by her HARSH grades at first it's a scare tactic! Also, she gives a lot of days off! and very flexible. Recommended!

If you want a hard but fun professor, choose her. She is very aware of the students point of view, so she tries to accomodate. In class, she seems very intimidating, especially when she puts you on the spot, but when you go to her office hours, she's very approachable, and she really wants to help you pass the portfolio.

She is a really great professor as long as you do the work. She comes off as very intimidating but in office hours she's very approachable and friendly. She does what she can to make sure that you pass college writing. She's committed and wonderful but just make sure that you don't procrastinate, see your tutor and go to her Office Hours!!!!!

her class is demanding, but it is doable. i didn't pass the portfolio because my writing skills didn't measure up to the college demands. she will help you think critically about issues from the readings. it is your responsiblity to revise your essays constantly, trust me, you need to revise!
