Not very clear on lectures, goes to fast and too brief. When trying to seek help from her, she refers you to a tutor instead of helping you. Her grade structure is very confusing.

She is an excellent professor, my favorite so far. The homework is semi heavy, but easy. I enjoyed the class a lot and she is very sweet, the only reason I got a B was because I didn't complete one of the online test(hybrid) . Stay on top of your reading and memorize vocab and you'll do great

Prof. Bates gives a lot of homework and lab work. You MUST work had for a good grade. She doesn't accept late work and or any types of make-ups she can seem mean at times too. I burned out my brain for a good grade and I did very well in her class. ALWAYS do your hw and be ready to participate in her class or she will call you out.

Prof Bates is really sweet. The class i took was a hybrid course so you basically have to check online for assignments all the time. She gives alot of homework, but its really simple.

She is very knowledgeable and helpful. She is totally approachable if you need clarification, but she doesn't put up with excuses. Her instructions are clear and reasonable. There is a ton of work. It's not hard, but it can seem overwhelming because of the amount. It is possible to get an A, but you have to be willing to work for it.

she is a pretty good teacher. As long as you do all your homework and do all the assigned work you will be fine. I got a B in her class. The online test portions are a bit tricky if you don't pay attention closely.

Started out not really sure about Mrs. Cerwin-Bates. That changed as the semester went on. She is very knowledgable and only wants to pass some of that knowledge on. She employs a no nonsense teaching approach that is tough at times, but gets the job done. I am better off concerning my education due to my participation in her class.
