I forgot my homework one time and he let me bring it the week after. He's super nice but talks nonstop the whole class and is boring. But overall, he's a good professor

All his assignments are essays.(4-6 pages each) So far, we've done 4 papers and the midterm was cancelled. the essays count as a big part of the grade and he's a tough grader. he picks on the little stuff like grammar and names. He wants his essays to be VERY specific! Other than that, he gives u 3 free absences but very boring lectures.

Johnson isn't a tough grader nor does he give tough assignments but he is boring. His lectures feel like they drag on forever and he doesn't use any power points so he is just staring you down during his lecture. He likes to listen to himself talk and is just extremely extremely boring, but fairly easy class.

Very interesting lecturer and really knows his stuff. Lectures for half the class then a video on the subject. Weekly quizzes, small papers for a mid term and a final presentation/paper. Not a ton of work and very doable overall.

One of the nicest professors at MSU! The material may be boring at times but he is really passionate about what he teaches and knows what he's talking about. Most of the classes were films The midterm was cancelled and the final was open books and notes. I'd take his class again. Just be sure to take notes and get whatever you missed from someone.

This is one of the easiest classes at MSU. This guy has been teaching at MSU since 1973 and really knows his stuff. Although the content is boring its easy. Attendance is 25% homework 25% he canceled the midterm and gave us a homework assignment instead (easy A) and the final was a essay (open book, open notes,)

Prof. Johnson is a great man, older dude. his lectures are all over the place, he skips from one idea to another in a matter of seconds. he does this for the first half of class then usually the next half is a movie, if we're lucky! there is 1 midterm and 1 final. the final is just a few essay questions. he curves. u have to read. overall take him

Lectures are interesting, some times boring. Textbook is cheap and only used to read for hw. Only 3 grades. Midterm, Final, and Paper. Fair Grader. Tests are worded Very Hard. Videos are boring, but need them for exams and paper. Class was interesting, makes you think, and i learned alot. Tough to get an A.

Professor Johnson is awesome. He makes his own book on the course which is about 30 bucks (Not Bad) He is extremely intelligent. There are few papers throughout the semester and every Wednesday is a video to solidify the lecture from monday. I learned so much from him. Take him if you want to learn something. If you are lazy go else where

I had him for Celtic Religion--extremely interesting lectures, lots of reading, but book choices were great. I learned a lot. Prof. Johnson teaches thru lectures, handouts, video selections, group discussion, and papers reflecting on readings. A great class--not really that difficult. You wil learn a lot.
