She's very respected and is kind towards all of her students. I don't like history but she made her lectures very interesting. Her lectures aren't posted anywhere so showing up to class is a must. She is always offering extra credit and is willing to help you out. Overall, a great professor and I would recommend her.

Dr. Carrafiello is an amazing professor and an even better professor. She is so sweet and so helpful. I have never liked history or been remotely interested in it but I looked forward to attending her lecture. She made me understand history for the first time! Would recommend her for any class. She's hilarious with her quirky jokes as well!

Dr. Carrafiello is an awesome professor and I enjoyed her class. I learned a lot in this class and I was definitely challenged. Take good notes, study them, and you should do well on the tests! On tests use historical references and you should do well!

Dr. Carrafiello was nice and she is so energetic. She doesn't use a powerpoint so you have to pay attention to what she is saying and what she writes on the board. Her test aren't too difficult, but make sure you know dates and specific details. She likes those on her essays.

She's not a bad, she's just very confusing when she lectures bc she keeps going on and on than you would lose track of what she said, and she says "umm" a lot and me personally that throws me off. Her exams are really hard because she wants every little detail. So study very hard read the book like how you drink water everyday and you'll do great.

I thought her class was very simple. On her tests, you need to know specific details and dates though. Her lectures are very easy to understand. I took the notes the entire period so I didn't miss any details and it helped a lot

Dr. Carrafiello was a very knowledgable teacher and the lectures were informative. However, for tests you have to know very specific details about every concept. I studied countless hours for that class and still got lower test scores. I think she has favorites and her grading reflects that. If you like history and can remember well, take it.

Dr. C. is probably one of the better professors around. She was my advisor for my senior history thesis and really pushed me to give it my best, and encouraged me and was there to guide me every step of the way. In class, she gets into the material big time and really tries to make it interesting for her students. Definitely recommended if you're looking for something informative and a little corny fun.

She rocks! I had her for 101 and then, I believe it was 425 (European Identity) and they were all so great and informative. And she is a great prof and a blast of humor in such a blah world at WSU sometimes...
