Took for my may semester for credit. Super easy grader.. only a few assignments determine your grade so make sure you remember due dates. Nice guy, gives great feedback and super responses to emails

Older man. He reads right off the powerpoints which can make class boring and you definitly dont need the text book. There are manadotry out of class events you have to go to but any extra ones you go to are extra credit. You can fail everything and still get an A becuase of extra credit. All tests are online.

He's a really sweet older man, class is just sooooo boring. He lectures the whole time about powerpoint that you can access online. The Homework load is not bad at all, class is just miserable.

Dr. Damonte has a lot of knowledge in the tourism industry. The format of the class throws you in the deep end, but Dr. Damonte is very willing to work with your group, you just have to be willing to take the time. You need to be willing to put the time and effort into the class and your grade will reflect that.

Comment:

Extremely knowledgeable in his field and the most helpful professor I had while at CCU. Some of the presentations were dry but he was able to incorporate real life experiences into his lessons that made them interesting. Very nice and understanding prof - if you put in the time and the work you will do fine in his classes.

Dr. Damonte takes attendance. He is very knowledgeable about his subject, but he is also extremely dry. Tests can be a bit confusing, but as long as you study you should do okay. Extra credit is also offered, and I would suggest doing it. He is a good person to know if you're an RTMA major.

Extremely nice, just have patience because he is hard of hearing. He has discussion questions he assigns and expects you to do 2 in the whole semester - thats pretty much it for HW. He discusses the questions at the beginning of each class and those ARE the questions on the test. pay attention, attend the site visits and goto class for Extra credit

This professor is a good guy, but not such a great teacher. He calls roll everyday...so try not to miss class (3 abs. allowed). This class has outside the classroom site visit of busnisses in the area- do them!! Overall he is very very boring. Test are 25% notes, and 75% book...(you dont use your book in class). Good Luck

He is all over the place and he cant hear a thing. He always askes if anyone has questions and takes up forever answering them. His tests are a little tricky but do the "volenteer" activites and do the extra credit and it will be a automatic A!

this class is kind of dull but we have a lot of speakers and Prof. Damonte is an in for the community in helping with internships as well as the school for the Resort Tourism degree just study and pay attention in class and ull do fine

Yes he is boring but as long as you actually STUDY for his test which come straight from the book and sometimes the PPT then you should get at least an A or B on his test. Also do the two required volunteer and or event meetings just go to two of those and do the thank you notes/paragraph summaries and those are easy points.

This teach is really really boring. All we did was use the Mcdonalds book every class. He only lets you have TWO absences before he takes off points. Just go to class and you will be fine.

I wouldn't recommend this class if you don't have to take it. The project (big part of grade) requires way too much work out of class, and he grades very unfairly on it. The tests are easy. Just study the PPT slides. Also, the class is SOOOOOO boring, and he never lets you out early. NEVER!!!!
