Comment:

Dr. Bell is by far the best professor I have had at TCC. I took him for both humanities classes, and his lectures were very engaging. There is not a heavy load work, however attendance is mandatory. Dr. Bell is very cultured, so he also has a lot of real-life stories that are very interesting. Dr. Bell is the best!!

Comment:

Dr. Bell is by far the best professor I have had at TCC. Dr. Bell truly cares about each individuals success in his class. I have taken both humanities classes he teaches. Participation is crucial to getting a good grade in his class, however he is fantastic at lecturing, and very clear on what will be on exams.

Comment:

His class was overall pretty interesting, and his in class discussions were fun to participate in. I don't know if he was having a rough semester or what, but he started giving us random quizzes because he was frustrated with people not showing up or leaving early. I felt like this was unfair to those of us who showed up to every class.

Comment:

I took Dr. B for Humanities and he was super knowledgeable on the subject. Classes were just lectures but they are interesting and he makes them fun. We didn't use the textbook but he does give you points for attendance! Show up and participate and there is no way you wont pass with an A. Great and super caring prof!

Professor Bell is very knowledgeable in this subject. This was an 8 week course, but he did not give a lot of homework or assignments. Would take him again.

Dr. Bell is easy (2 tests, 1 paper, attendance points). If you show up to class, you will get an A or B. However, you will have to listen to a lot of junk and opinions. He also brought in a random old guy (NOT a student) who loved to spew his opinion in every class. They would argue with intellectual jargon not relevant to the class. Ridiculous...

You can tell Dr. Bell is passionate about teaching and his subjects. He assigns 3 video summaries, a 7-10 page paper, a midterm, and final. Your grade mostly depends on attendance which is 10 points for every time you come. My grade was not too good for awhile because I missed class a lot. Overall, he is a nice guy and it's an easy class.

Honestly, Dr. Bell is the easiest class I have ever taken but that isn't always a good thing. If you take his class, you will learn barely anything. He goes off on tangents during his lectures that confuse you and make you very lost. He likes to input his opinions in his lectures, but they can be v offensive. Syllabus does not match actual course.

Comment:

Dr. Bell is someone who has that spark. He keeps the class interested and he always has a smile on his face. I had him a few semesters ago and I still rate him as my top instructor. I did find out that he had cancer and I just want him to know I am praying for him to have a fast recovery! The way he is in class you would never guess he was sick!

I LOVED HIM. Such an inspiring man and teacher. I learned so much just from listening to him speak. 2 online at home exams and one paper due at the end of the semester. Gives points for attendance. Great man I would recommend to everyone. I will miss his class greatly.

Read Fully. I failed this class, but not because of Dr. Bell. Because I forgot to do the final exam? I blame no one but myself for that. He was passionate about his job, always eager to talk to students, always understanding, and not once had he ever told off a student. This man is a great professor, I envy any who do not have a teacher like him.

Mr. Bell is a Pastor, If you Volunteer at his church for a whole semester he waived the papers for you and got A. The volunteering is also take Tulsa Chief. He uses PP a lot, take a note, will help tremendously. Discussion and participation will get you extra credit. Try to write paper as early as possible. Take him, you will enjoy the class.

I took Dr.Bell for Intro to Psychology and LOVED it! He's a great teacher! Going to class was always fun(he usually let us out early because he had another class to get to) Class was just Lecture and all work was online(you really NEED a book to make a good grade on the Quizzes)
