Professor Farrell is the best, he truly cares about teaching and is interested more in the quality of work than the quantity. Write your papers and take his advice, it has truly changed my life. Boring sometimes but a very unique and interesting person. I would take him again.

class is not hard at all. u write a reflection paper almost every week, but they're easy if you follow his instructions (reflections = your thoughts!). show up, particpate and do your work, and you'll get a good grade. if you can't handle that then maybe you should go back to high school.

To be honest with everyone, Prof. Farrell isn't as bad as you think. I enjoy his class although at times he does go a little off topic. Oh and yes he does assign a paper every week on important topics from his lecture and the book. However, what did you expect? Grow up, you're in college!

He is such a nice person and has passion for his subject. He's not the clearest teacher at all times, but for the tests he gives you all the words you will have to define and the definitions, along with the essays that will be on it. Grades easy.

This guy expects us to know everything he does. A paper is due every week with citations. He made us buy 6 separate books instead of the single book the other classes use. The readings and concepts are impossible to understand. Don't take him.
