Do NOT take her. She gives homework for a 2 credit class that's enough for a 4 credit class. Tests and quizzes are very hard. Not willing to help students. She'll tell you one way to do something, then if you ask again she changes her statement. Avoid her at all costs! She's an awful instructor.

She teaches very fast only explains one time, treats you like u were in the military. If u need help she doesnot help you, she will refer you to tutoring and they dont help you either. If you can avoid her I would . Her tteaching us know teaching. And if you are the last one typing she will ask what was uour speed n say you passed with that.

Mrs. Owings is a nice person. She is willing to assistant anyone who asks for it. She responds quickly in emails. She is blunt and realistic.I prefer people to be honest and teach me to improve to become more professional.

Wanda's quick to go over things. If you don't understand, she only repeats what she originally said. Can't explain the material in alternate ways. Students learn differently & many struggled to understand her. Condescending. Some homework took multiple hours; get one part wrong & it equals an F! It's ok, an 80pt hw only = 1pt towards final grade!

Class was not too hard. Thoughtfully link a life story into your memos & proof-read before turning it in. Keep up with planner entries & you'll do well. Owings is intense and intimidating. It is her way only. That's the way some bosses can be, & not much we could do about that. Just do it her way, get it done, and don't argue. Easy A.

I've had five classes with Mrs. Owings. If you attend class, take notes, ask questions, and CAREFULLY proofread your homework, you will do well. E-mail any questions you have; she loves (& will help) a student who cares. Side note: I noticed all the haters had typos-you might want to rethink your major; I don't think Mrs. Owings is the problem.

I laugh at people that hate Wanda. I have had her for 4 classes and will take her again next semeste. When you learn her sytle she is awesome. Yes, qwirky, but so what.All of the business classes are run the same. O'Laughlin, Pena, and Owings all have the same rules. Complainers need to grow up. Dont be afraid, she is awesome.

Most demeaning teacher I have EVER had in my life! Bases grading on just two assignments out of a whole packet of at least 20, so Inevitably you get an F and if it's not her way it's wrong ALWAYS!!!! She is horrible, worse professor I have EVER had at Delta, and that's saying a lot considering I have over 100 credits. Awful person and teacher.

This is the most demeaning teacher I have EVER had in my life! She gets you used to the way she is grading you then decides to change it up and give you an E on a whole HW packet because she only grades one paper out of the entire thing and if it's not her way it's wrong. She is horrible "does this Make Sense"? Awful person and teacher.

Worst teacher ever, she gives a lot of homework in a short period of time and isn't very clear on what she whats. When it comes to your papers, she will tell you one way to do it, and then mark you wrong for it. I do NOT reccomend her to anyone.

terrible teacher; avoid taking her at all costs. you must be in class every session or you will be dropped. will not compensate or budge with how she feels about absences. she grades hard and will not be flexible. worst instructor I've ever had @ Delta.

i HATED this teacher; and i'm only 4 weeks in; lord help me get through the next 8. Will be speaking to a counsilor about switching out if possible. Shes demeaning, gave me a dirty look because i was 15 minutes late for class (the roads were terrible & i gave myself an hr to get there) HATE HER. DONT TAKE HER.

I have had her every semester since I started, and I think she in an awesome teacher. I try to get her whenever I can. She is very knowledgable, and that makes her an excellent teacher. I think people don't understand that this is college not high school. If you want to learn you'll love her, too.

Had for OAT 172 and OAT 175. Crystal clear on what she expects from you; you are an adult, this is how things are done in the professional world. If I had questions I aksed and was never made to feel stupid--she wants you to learn. Lots of homework, but I've had worse in other courses.

Mrs Owings is extremely helpful. I had her for both OAT 151 and 152. I didn't really like her at first, but in the end she was awsome! She is always willing to help you achieve your goal.
