Wendy's direction of the choir not only helped me sing in a collective setting but helped me improve singing in a solo one as well. She taught me to listen to others rather than myself.

Wendy is an encouraging teacher who is able to make you realize what areas you need to improve in without feeling bad about yourself. She is also able to help you capitalize in your strong points and is willing to hear about what areas of voice that you would like to explore as well.

Wendy is by far the best choir teacher I've ever had. She's so funny and is so nice to everyone. She's also a great conductor with a beautiful voice and a knack for helping people find their voice.

I like her as a person, but she really cannot teach. Even in choir, nothing happens. She doesn't even conduct with clarity. Sure, it's fun, but we're paying to learn something, not to listen to the students in the back have a conversation with her. Hate her classes.

She is a wonderful person but a horrible teacher. You are expected to know every little detail about every person in the book. It is hard to figure out exactly what she wants on assignments. Still, make lots of meetings with her, she will grade you easier if you keep showing up in her office.

Apparently a good choir conductor, and she seems to know what she is talking about, however, she does not know how to teach, is constantly bumbling around and is easily swayed by students. If you do not get at least a B in this class, you should just stop trying.

i found wendy's music appreciation class to be remarkably boring. although wendy might have a surplus of musical knowledge, she taught the class as though everything she knew she learned in last night's textbook reading. her tests and listening tests were easy if you did the reading (which less than half the class did) or paid attention in class.
