I liked this professor he is very clear when it comes to assignments and will answer any questions. You MUST be on time to class and you must participate to get a good grade. He usually gives shorter papers for homework but there is one large end of the year project, but if you stay on task its super easy.

At first very intimidating but is nice when you do what is expect: participate in class, show up on time, put time into papershomework. Will play the devils advocate if you don't do these things however if you do he will be a great asset to you as he has a strong knowledge of the field and what you should be doing, very helpful & practical course

Gets everyone in class involved in the lectures. He was a really easy grader on the papers. Goes off on tangents occasionally that have nothing to do with the topic but they are usually semi-interesting. Overall it was a pretty easy class.

Get on his good side, and you're golden. He's a great professor but very strict and a bit picky with little things like grammer, late assignments, etc. The short writing assignments are things that you'll need to write later in life, so the course is very helpful. He's funny but LOVES to make fun of the stupid kids, so dont slack with your effort.

Good teacher but likes to pick on people. You need to learn how to play his game in order to get a good grade otherwise your grade will suffer. The class is interesting, especially because it's based on things that you will need to know in your career. He's VERY picky with grammar, he will really give you a C on a paper just for a misplaced comma.

he is great!!! listen!!! you do easy papers. 2-3 pages. one every 2 weeks or so. then other assignments are precis and a business proposal, which REALLY helped me look into the specific industry i want to go into. long story short, TAKE HIMMM!!!!!! You either love or hate Vericker and I thought he was excellent! A lot of writing and quizzes, but with creativity and perservierance it's easy to earn an A. I was a bit taken about by -all- of his pro-gay articles and talks. Writing skills greatly improved! PS- Mention how great firemen are - he used to be one and holds them in high regard.

dr. vericker is a very knowledgable man, and is an EXCELLENT teacher...i loved going to his class, and got so much out of it. he's got a great sense of humor and your writing will greatly improve by the end of his class!
