Dr Hagar is an asset SUNY Cortland is lucky to have. If you don't get him, its because you don't understand his level of expertise in the subject areas He instructs. you must raise your self to meet his standards because he will not lower himself to meet yours if that is the case.

he is crazy. he makes you read outloud a lot-- and by that, i mean your own papers. you have to read them to the class. which i dont enjoy. i always had to redo my papers, cuz the directions were always unclear.

Crazybrilliantgeniusmadman. Hager is a riot. I think he's retiring, though, which is sad. Easiest A you'll get. No attendance worries. Lets you revise everything. Lots of inclass rambling. Incredible teacher. Absolutely one of the best.

You must have a heightened sense of humor-be a quick wit-to appreciate his brilliance. He's a wealth of knowledge-I'm glad he had us read Ovid's Metamorphasis to connect to Shakespeare. He rocks.

It takes a couple of classes to catch onto his rhetoric and sense of humor, but Hager is by far one of the most brilliant and hilarious professors i have ever had. He teaches ideas,and allows you to express yours freely at all times. Simply Amazing man.

Hager is out of his mind- but definately the smartest teacher on campus (he's like buddies with seamus heaney- lets be serious!) he rambles on most of the time- i would sleep all the time- but its an easy a and you might learn something

Based mostly on papers but you have to read alot of old english. Talked about penile implants, howard stern, ****, and sex ALOT. Hes a weirdo, youll need a pillow if you go to class, but he doesnt have an attendence policy. Lets classes out early alot.
