Dr. Bailey is an amazing COMM 1110 professor! Her lectures are always extremely helpful in writing the speeches. Extra credit is offered on almost all of the assignments. You don't have to memorize speeches, nice!! Dr. Bailey is very helpful and gives very good feedback on your speeches. She is always ready to help you when you have questions.

Very nice, easy-going professor. Her lectures are entertaining and she puts the PowerPoints online. The midterm and final were both online and curved. She will occasionally push back assignment deadlines when necessary and wants to help everyone succeed.

Doctor Ainsworth's lectures are very good and she is very understanding if you don't understand something or if you need more time to finish an assignment. Her tests are difficult but she is an easy grader with papers and other assignments, it would be hard to fail her class.

She grades her speeches very fairly. Her test are online but super hard. They are 100 questions in 60 min! If you take her I would recommend taking her class with a friend so that y'all can get together and do the test together. She is very helpful when you are writing your speeches.

I am so confused as to why there are so many negative comments about her. I have taken two of her courses, both of which I recieved an A, with little effort. Never went to class or spent much time doing the outlines or papers. She is an easy grader, like seriously, it's a joke. Posting negative comments about her probably means you failed.

Although she is very helpful in asking questions she is VERY picky when grading.I tried so hard in tha class.Seriously.She was very confusing at the beginning of the semester and even though she critisizes us on saying "um" in our speeches she uses "like" in her lecture "like" a lot.I did learn;dont take her as a hybrid!COMM was suppose 2 b easy.ha

She is the reason my Hope scholarship will be lost! She thinks that your life revolves around HER class only. She grades on perfection of powerpoints & outlines..not even communication skills. She takes this class WAY too serious and expects you too as well. DONT TAKE HER unless your ready to work your butt off for NOTHING!!!

THIS PROFESSOR IS GOD AWFUL. I have never experienced such a rude teacher. If she does not like you for whatever reason, you will know. She is not good at communicating (which she's suppose to be a "professional" at). Also, she takes this class WAY too seriously... It's a speech class at gsc... not law school.

Class was difficult. What the others have said about outlines are true. I finally got the idea and annoyed the crap out of her and aced my final outline. Tests are easy. She didn't really seem to care at all about our group projects that we worked really hard on. She is funny but rude. She full of herself and thinks she has good fashion sense not

If you're easily offened, don't take this course with her. She is very matter of fact and doesn't have much tact. It's actually an easy A if you can figure things out own your own and put forth the effort. You just have to look past her rudeness at times. DON'T TAKE HER CLASS! She does not grade papers fairly. She expects you to cite all your power point pictures and yet on her own power point, she didn't even cite it! She's ridiculous when it comes to grading your paper and your speech presentation! She's not helpful at all. I wish I did not take her class!

Good Teacher.She taught off powerpoints and it wasnt really to boring.I took her during Maymester so it was kinda intense but I do recommend that bc there are less speeches required! It was very difficult to do the speeches she asked for bc they had to be about helping the enviroment. hard subject to talk about when you dont know anything about it.

Prof. Ainsworth is a great Comm teacher. The one thing I would advise students before taking this class is that she is a little tough on her grading standards of the outlines. She does not want her outlines to be essays. Other than that she is very knowledgeable and keeps the class fun and easygoing. One more thing PRACTICE PRACTICE your speeches

Anyone who says Professor Ainsworth is horrible is STUPID! im currently taking her Maymester Comm class and she is an AWESOME teacher. its a very fun class and she makes this corse very simple and understandable! She's very helpful and dedicated to her job. she has been one of my favorite professors in two years of college. TAKE HER CLASS!

Do not take this woman. She expects you to write 2 outlines in her class, yet fails to teach how to write one according to HER STANDARDS. Then, she grades the outlines and gives you a C. Ridiculous.
