Comment:

The most important professor I've had in my academic career. She will push you intellectually. Do the readings! Even when they feel impossibly hard. Also she is a fantastic lecturer, funny and passionate. She is difficult to approach one on one though. And the lengthy presentations in her classes seem to take up too much class time.

Allyson has amazing lectures and readings. She was hilarious, inspiring and wanted to hear from everyone in the classlecture. If you want to get an A you must study the readings and lecture notes. She was the most understanding prof I had during the 2015 strike and let each student choose how they would complete the course. A++++

HORRIBLE COURSE!! I didn't know what human geography was before taking this course and I still don't. She didn't explain anything and the course had absolutely no direction. The majority of the readings were around the topic of queer lifestyles and lesbian issues. She grades hard. NOT APPROACHABLE!!

She was an awesome prof! I really enjoyed her class. I thought I would hate it b/c I never took a human geography course before - but she made the class fun and the topics interesting. if she is teaching a 4th year class next year i will for sure take it :)
