Mr. Alford made a difference in the way I view math. I always was afraid of math and always struggled. On many occasions, I actually felt dumb. Mr. Alford cared and also helped me and the math lab. Thanks to Mr Alford, I soon will be taking another math class with confidence.

I had the pleasure of taking Mr. Alford's Algebra class twice. I learned a lot through his material. His approach to teaching is very laid back (non stressful) and whenever you email him he has an answer in just a few hours. His course is way better than other professor's because he lays out all of the course work and if you finish early your done!

Has homework with unlimited attempts, and then a practice exam(also unlimited attempts), and an exam for each section. The exam is exactly like the homework and very straight forward. I was able to learn a lot from his teaching style and would take him again if I had a do over.

Let's face it, Math is not the easiest subject, but this instructor communicates the concepts in a clear and concise manner. Also, you can look at his lectures on line which is a huge benefit. Just stay current with your assignments. I highly recommend this instructor.

I took this online class as a Spring Mini Semester class. Mr Alford does an amazing job with all of his lectures and responding to emails promptly. I didn't have a problem with any of the material and as a faster pace class, I never felt overwhelmed. Watch all of the lectures, do the homework, quiz then test. Taking him for MTH112 right now!

Loved taking his class! Always answered emails quickly and provided extra resources to help! Taking his MTH 112 in the Spring! Oh and the textbook is an ebook don't buy the hard copy just the MyMathLabPlus! His lectures are more helpful than the textbook usually!

Best online math teacher, hands down. I would take him for the rest of my engineering degree if I could. His videos are long but informative. He will start out with easy problems and then gradually go into the criminally insane, but he will suffer with you. Great teacher.

Very pleased. He always answered emails and his office phone. Always helpful. Lectures very clear and helpful. Class was very organized online, you always were aware what was due, etc. He was very approachable if you had questions. I would recommend him highly for Intermediate College Algebra.

Mr. Alford is a great teacher to have if you need a online MTH 100 class. I'm horrible at math. He explained each step and gave multiple examples in his videos. These videos were extremely helpful and they were the reason I pasted this class. You will not be sorry if you pick Mr. Alford as your teacher..

Mr. Alford is the best math instructor I have ever had. He is very thorough with his teachings and easy to understand. Take his online course is very easy and he always available in the math lab if you need him.I was never good at math but I got an A in his class...he's that good!!!!!!highly recommended!!!
