Comment:
Dr. Badura-Brack thinks she knows absolutely everything about abnormal psych. She wants you to be ultra specific in the short answers on the test and if you're even a little bit off she'll take points away. The only way to get an A is to memorize and follow her slides exactly, which kind of sucks. She is very inflexible. Would not recommend.

Tough grader! Class consists of 4 exams, final exam, project, and online quizzes. Have to do well on exams to receive and project to come close to an A, but homework assignments help. Very accessible outside of class and is willing to help students. She knows what she is talking about, but be ready to study.

Dr. Badura-Brack was a great professor until I didn't do well on one of her exams and she didn't offer any assistance for future studying or opportunities for extra credit to make up for it. She made it clear that I wasn't up to her performance standards also.

Dr. Badura-Brack is so caring, she has experience as a clinical psychologist and that contributes to more real life examples to help students understand. She is open to questions and helping students understand the material. Grade is composed of 5 exams, 2 short papers, online reading quizzes, and essays for each module. I highly recommend taking!

Dr. Badura is awesome and definitely knows abnormal psych. Three tests, 1 final and a case study. Be warned, tests are mostly short answer/essay questions and she likes specifics. I bought the book, but it wasn't needed. The powerpoints contained all info. you need for tests. I definitely recommend her, she is a fascinating.

She's a really cool lady and she knows a ton about abnormal so it was really interesting. She's a pretty tough grader though on even tougher tests. They're all essay with like 5-10 multiple choice each test which are easy. If you really put the work in an A is doable but since there are only 5 assignments you have to do really well on all of them!!

She's really nice and straightforward. I liked her review lectures online to help me study for the tests. The tests were not tricky; they were the usual- know the material and pass. Her voice is very interesting-sounding. I can see how it may seem off-putting to some.

Great teacher. Only four tests and a few short writing assignments. Easy to follow lectures and uses Blueline for videos so if you miss class there is a presentation with her voice over. Very approachable. Recommend for intro level psychology!

Super easy A if you study a little bit for each test. Lectures are long but are optional. She teaches straight to the test and lets you know what will be included on the test. Interesting, intelligent lady.

Intro Psych online was a breeze. 5 tests, the last is the last chapter plus the final. Online lecture with powerpoint each week, never more than 45 minutes long each. I recommend viewing the textbook for extra clarify. Tests are 30 Q's in 35 mins. She's a hard discussion grader but not bad. Recommend!

She is a very nice woman. However, she goes through the lectures so fast that you cannot pay attention and write notes at the same time. 4 tests and a paper are pretty much the only grades of the class. The tests are difficult and cover an extreme amount of material. Your paper's grade is solely based off your grade in the class. Would'nt recommend

Health Psych is a broad but also interesting course. If you are interested in health related behaviors along with psychology, I would suggest taking it. Dr. Badura-Brack is awesome and incorporated interactive power-points this semester which makes lecture interesting. She is clear, helpful, and knowledgeable on the information. Tests are not easy.

she is a really nice professor willing to help you with anything class related. Only 4 test but really hard you need to read book and study power points in order to do very well in this class; there's also a paper ( which her T.A. grades not her.)

She has powerpoints on blueline with audio. She lectures the whole class and sometimes incorporates videos. She tries to make class interesting for students. Graded on 4 50pt. MC tests, a paper, and research participation. She's very nice and approachable.

4 tests and a paper. She grades the test EXTREMELY hard and if you fail or do poorly on the first 2, she tells you to drop the class. If you memorize the powerpoints (like the back of your hand) you should do well on the tests. Always write down what she writes on the board or puts up from the DSM-IV-TR.

She's super nice, VERY easy class. She really willing to help out, I took the class over the summer, we had a test every week and one paper in which she gives us a re-write. It's very easy to get an A, the tests are mostly multiple choice and come from her lectures, Read the book for additional knowledge. I highly recommend this teacher!

Loved her! She uses powerpoints in class that summarize the material and are clear and easy to follow. She clearly loves her work and always tells funny stories that relate to the information. Also, she loves people to get involved in class. Her tests are multiple choice and not too bad. She's a fabulous teacher and I would recommend her to anyone
