Hes the worst professor at Ferris State, he does not lecture or teach. Always refers to his TA for any questions. I do not recommend taking his course. ever.

If I could give a negative review I would. The class is easy but that would be true for any 100 level class of this nature. Suhy is impossible to talk to and when you have the chance to get through to him he is incredible rude.

You have to buy a $100 McGraw Hill access code and that's all you do for the rest of the semester. A typical day in this class includes him taking attendance, and then you work on your McGraw Hill assignment (that takes less than 10 min) and then you leave. If you show up and do your work its an easy A.. All tests are online. Literally ridiculous

All we do is go to class to do homework. It's really strange. He doesn't teach at all. Worst "teacher" I've ever had. And we only have class to do our assignments and we have to teach ourselves. It's so ridiculous I am so anxious right now after talking with him and literally giving no help. I think he should be evaluated, this isn't right. ISYS321

Terrible teacher, gives 0 feedback, and rarely talks to students. Any time you need help or ask him a question he says "Talk to the TA". The first 2 sections, word and powerpoint weren't difficult at all, but the excel portion was super hard and he did nothing to help prepare us.

This is the second time I have had Suhy, and he was the exact same as before. Half assignments and half tests. The tests are so detailed and don't help you learn whatsoever, not to mention they are timed. But you do get multiple attempts. Must be in class for assignments and tests. I would avoid him if you want your money's worth in the class.

Rarely helps students with homework, and when he does, he only gets to 1 or 2 per class. He does not give enough time to do his assignments, nor does he even give you enough information on HOW to do them. The ONLY plus, is that most assignments are easy, if you study on your own. Strongly recommend avoiding if possible.

I do not like him at all. He will not let you work ahead because he only allows the one specific assignment to be done in class that day. He wastes more than half the class lecturing over everything and won't let you work until he is finished. If you miss class you get points taken off your grade. I asked to borrow his book and he said no...

This professor is knowledgeable in what he teaches. If you want to get ahead in a course, this one you are unable to. He allows for 1 assignment to get done per class and doesn't let you start without first doing it himself. I know what I am doing and can finish the assignments in less time than it takes him to explain. I'll avoid in the future.

I had this professor for four courses now and he is very easy. He is specific on what he wants and as long as you can follow directions you'll do good. However, he does not help you at all, he doesn't return emails, and he will scream at you if you do not pay attention. Classes are mandatory (3% off your grade for every day you don't attend).

Class is incredibly easy. I didnt like how he had to explain every single thing..how to save a file? REALLY? pretty sure everyone knows how to do that. He is also very particulate. Take if you wanna be bored.

Easy A, but sucks as a professor. he wastes 20-30 min. everyday before class. Oh and he always arrives at class 2 min. before it starts. He doesn't answer questions in a quick reasonable time. It seriously takes him 5 min. to answer it. Even then, you don't get the answer you needed. Also, don't skip b/c you can't do the work outside of class.LAME!

First off, it's an easy class. Second, he's the worst professor I have ever had!! Before every class, he rambles on and on about the daily assignment for 20-30 minutes and won't let you work ahead. His mid-term and final exams are ridiculous too. They are random questions within the book and trying to find them in it is a waste of time.

Visual Basic.Useless teacher. like Milton from Office Space. Quizzes are word 4 word and open book. Lessons are from the book.He seems afraid to talk to students. Attendance is required.So easy. Most days you can leave early (depending on how fast you work). If you want to feel like you got your moneys worth, i would recommend taking someone else.

VERY easy class you copy everything out of the book. He forces you to watch him do it first though, and treats you like your 10 years old kinda gets annoying. Normally get to leave class way early sometimes your in and out in 15min.

Simple class. Useless professor. Turns a simple question into something more than it should be and is terrible to listen to. But take the class if you want an easy A. You can teach yourself everything that needs to be applied in the class.
