Took GEOG1 and GEOG1L with him. If you take good notes, you'll do well on the tests, because they're open-note. Lectures can be hard to follow. Lab got out very early every day. Attendance mandatory for lab, but not for lecture. Textbook was unnecessary. Map project (for summer classes only) takes a lot of time - get it checked before it's due.

8 week phys geo class. recommend over his 16 week. just show up to all his lectures . dont buy the book for the class. it is a waste of money and we never used it. grading is 1 newspaper assignment that you can turn in and get checked before due date for easy 100%. write down everything on powerpoint and anything he says helps for the 5 tests.

Took him for GEOG1L- He is a nice teacher and very helpful. He gave you A's on all the labs as long as you showed up. Tests were okay. If you do not do the labs or understand them then you will not do well on the tests. He offered extra credit on the Tests and additional EC. I would highly recommend him if you have to take GEO lab.

I was in his 8 week class and it's seriously the easiest class ever! Make sure you take really good notes because he let's you use them during exams & the final. He talks really fast so I had to record lectures. There is one newspaper assignment that you have to do but it's extremely easy. Oh, and tell him that he's "spatial" ;)

Rating for Geography 1LAB: You have one workbook which you will do your labs in. Easy topics, but for the lab he does NOT teach. Skims through power points from his actual class. Puts the answer key on a table, and you are on your own. No lecture so class leaves 2 hours early all the time. AGAIN DOES NOT TEACH, other than that easy class.

Very easy class if you write down notes. lets you record lectures & take pictures of the slide shows, lets you use notes on test. if you dont take notes youre screwed. didnt buy the textbook, i just paid attention & wrote notes and i passed fine. make sure you do the newspaper assignment early not finishing that was the only reason i didnt get an A

Took his 8 week class, SUPER easy. Pretty much go to all classes and take notes on what is on his powerpoints. Open note tests and he drops the lowest test out of 4. Make sure you do the newspaper assignment early so you get full credit cause he's a stickler on random stuff. Other than that take the class, it's an easy A

I am currently taking his 8 week class and I am in my 7th week. I love this teacher, and I recommend it to anyone that needs it for GE or who just has a passion for it. Attend class, take good notes and you will have no problems.

Took as 8 week class. Had no interest in phys Geog before taking him. Sit at front&bring a recorder, talks fast! write down examples he gives on lectures will be on exam.Not easy but gives EC&drops lowest test. Dont piss him off by using cell/talking in class, he will kick you out! Show you are serious about class, he will love you for it. Got A =)

Nice guy, willing to help you if you need. talks fast but the class is not hard if you just go to class all the time and take good notes, then you can use notes for all tests and final. quirky personality. you need TO TAKE GOOD NOTES and don't miss class. Extra Credit opportunities. Don't blow off the articles project. Not hard just spend the TIME

i actually liked him.. if u want to get a good grade then u have to show up to class. test are open note.. pretty easy.. put u have to write EVERYTHING DOWN. if u do that and show him that u want an A he will give it to u no problem.. just do what he says and he will like you and make things easy for u.. worked for me :)

This guy is rad. Show up and take notes. Everything he writes on the board, is usually on the test. He has one assignment, it's easy. You can actually get an A if you just show up. Yes, some of the questions are tricky, but that is the beauty of open note testing. Think before you answer.
