I've had several classes with Dr. Kress and she is wonderful. I enjoy her classes. She's hard if you don't do your home work or read assigned readings. If you need help she's always there to help you, you have to do the work she won't do it for you.

Comment:

Taking her class was a joy! I learned a lot from her and while she is a tough grader, her instructions are clear and concise. She is also very willing to work with students and help them if they are willling to help themselves! I will deffinetly take another class from her.

Prof Anne knows what she's doing. You can always ask her questions. She accepts late work if you tell her a reason to why. For example I needed to print my due homework but I couldn't print it out because I forgot my usb at home, she just told me to post it on D2L. She is a part time teacher but still tries to do her best and meet students needs.

Dr. Kress is a wonderful instructor, very dedicated, and wants all of her students to succeed. She is also a great mentor, very organized, and offers advices if you get lost.I personally, learned a lot from her, and I will definitely miss her a lot in my next class- ECE#321. Thank you Dr. Kress for everything you did for me!

She was a great teacher and would only get upset if her students would continue to talk over her. She wasn't over the top with the ECE because she is teaching ECE classes and she's awesome if that's what your major is. She was easy as long as you do the reading and the work.. Great Teacher!!

SEEMS LIKE A NICE LADY AT FIRST BUT IS NOT REALLY THAT COOL? I TOOK HER ONCE AND THATS ALL IT TOOK FOR ME TO SAY.... I WILL NEVER TAKE HER AGAIN!!! SHE OVER DOES IT WITH THE WHOLE ECE STUFF AND SHE WILL MAKE YOU READ TILL YOUR EYES BURN!!! LOL!!!

Ms Kress has no respect for anyone with an opinion that does not reflect her own. She can not be trusted. She will say one thing and do the opposite. If you value respect and trust, do not deal with her. If you do take a class from her, do not say anything that she does not want to hear. I will never take a class from her again!!!

The assignments can be a bit overwhelming, if you don't keep up with the readings, but she does well at pacing the assignments in the syllabus. She is a kind and fair teacher. Pace yourself and stay on top of each weekly assignment and you will do fine.

I've had Ann for ECE 320 and 299. I enjoy her class! She is a caring and nice person. Take ECE 320 during the summer it's hard and fast pace but worth it, you get to know her so much better. Ann is very intrested in her students and their needs but if you use it as an excuse to let you pass she will not do it, you have to earn that grade. Good Luck

Anne is a very nice person, but she assigns TOO much reading. I don't think I've ever had to read so much. And it's not just the reading itself, it's what you're reading. Anne is very science based, which can be great, if you're into science. Over all.. good teacher.. but too much reading!

I learned a lot that can't be gotten from text books. Ms. Kress has rich life experience and an interest in keeping her involvement in ECE up to date. You get to learn something about yourself too. Great sociology teacher.
